नेपाल कम्युनिष्ट पार्टी (माओवादी केन्द्र)का अध्यक्ष पुष्पकमल दाहाल ‘प्रचण्ड’ र अर्थमन्त्री विष्णु पौडेलबीच आज खुमलटारमा भेटवार्ता सम्पन्न भएको छ।
दाहाल निवासमा भएको यो भेटघाट आगामी आर्थिक वर्ष २०८२/८३ को बजेट निर्माण सन्दर्भमा परामर्शका रूपमा भएको हो। दाहालको सचिवालयका अनुसार अर्थमन्त्री पौडेलले प्रमुख प्रतिपक्ष दलका नेताहरूसँग सुझाव र सल्लाह लिनका लागि भेटघाटको सिलसिलामा प्रचण्डसँग भेट गरेका हुन्।
यस भेटमा समावेशी बजेट निर्माण, वर्तमान आर्थिक चुनौती, सरकारी खर्चको प्राथमिकता तथा मुलुकको समग्र आर्थिक सुधारका विषयमा छलफल भएको बताइएको छ। पछिल्लो समय मुलुकको अर्थतन्त्रले सामना गरिरहेको दबाबका बीच यस्तो परामर्शले बजेटलाई प्रभावकारी र समावेशी बनाउन सहयोग पुग्ने अपेक्षा गरिएको छ।
आर्थिक वर्ष २०८२/८३ को बजेट जेठ १५ गते संसद्मा प्रस्तुत गरिने तयारी भइरहेको छ। त्यसलाई लक्षित गर्दै अर्थ मन्त्रालयले विभिन्न राजनीतिक दलका नेताहरूसँग परामर्श र संवादलाई तीव्रता दिएको छ।
Finance Minister Bishnu Paudel and Chairman of the CPN (Maoist Centre) Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' held a meeting today at Dahal’s residence in Khumaltar.
According to Dahal’s secretariat, the meeting was part of consultations initiated by Finance Minister Paudel with top leaders of the opposition regarding the formulation of the upcoming fiscal year's budget for 2082/83.
During the meeting, discussions were held on inclusive budget planning, current economic challenges, prioritization of government expenditure, and strategies for overall economic recovery of the country. Given the ongoing economic pressures Nepal is facing, such high-level consultations are expected to help make the upcoming budget more balanced and effective.
The government is preparing to present the national budget for the fiscal year 2082/83 on Jestha 15 (May 28, 2025), and the Ministry of Finance has been intensifying dialogue with political leaders across the spectrum as part of its pre-budget consultations.
