अर्थमन्त्री विष्णु प्रसाद पौडेलले अर्थ मन्त्रालय र नेपाल राष्ट्र बैंक बीचको घनिष्ठ समन्वयको महत्त्वलाई औंल्याएका छन्। उनले यो समन्वयलाई अर्थतन्त्रको सुधार र आर्थिक स्थायित्वका लागि अपरिहार्य बताएको छ।
चाणक्य मिडिया प्रालिले काठमाडौंमा आयोजना गरेको 'पूर्व-मौद्रिक नीति छलफल' कार्यक्रममा बोल्दै अर्थमन्त्री पौडेलले वित्तीय र मौद्रिक नीतिहरूको समन्वयमार्फत आर्थिक सुधारमा योगदान पुर्याउनुपर्ने बताउनुभयो। उहाँले मौद्रिक नीतिको सुशासन कमजोर भइरहेको उल्लेख गर्दै यसतर्फ चनाखो हुनुपर्ने धारणा राखे।
पौडेलले भन्नुभयो, "अर्थ मन्त्रालय र नेपाल राष्ट्र बैंकका बीचमा कुनै असमझदारीको परिकल्पना हाम्रो राज्य प्रणालीले गरेको छैन। यी दुई संस्थाबीचको सामञ्जस्यता, आर्थिक स्थिरता र सुधारको लागि अत्यन्त जरुरी छ।"
नेपाल उद्योग वाणिज्य महासंघका वरिष्ठ उपाध्यक्ष अञ्जन श्रेष्ठले मौद्रिक नीति भए पनि निजी क्षेत्रको आत्मविश्वासमा आएको गिरावटका कारण कर्जा लगानीमा वृद्धि नहुने र उद्योगको उत्पादन क्षमता घट्नुको प्रमुख कारण भएको बताए। उनले स्वपुँजीको समेत लगानी हुनु पर्ने आवश्यकतामा जोड दिए।
यसै क्रममा, अर्थमन्त्री पौडेलले सरकार र राष्ट्र बैंकका बीचको सहकार्यलाई थप बलियो बनाइ, वित्तीय प्रणालीलाई सुधार गर्ने दिशामा काम गर्न आवश्यक रहेको बताए।
Kathmandu, June 10, 2025 – Finance Minister Vishnu Prasad Paudel emphasized the importance of close coordination between the Ministry of Finance and Nepal Rastra Bank. He stated that such coordination is crucial for economic improvement and financial stability.
Speaking at the ‘Pre-Monetary Policy Discussion’ organized by Chanakya Media Pvt. Ltd. in Kathmandu, Minister Paudel highlighted the need for coordination between financial and monetary policies to contribute to economic reforms. He pointed out that the governance of monetary policy has been weakening recently and stressed the need to be cautious about it.
Minister Paudel said, "There is no concept of any misunderstanding between the Ministry of Finance and Nepal Rastra Bank in our state system. The coordination between these two institutions is essential for economic stability and improvement."
Anjan Shrestha, Senior Vice President of the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI), mentioned that despite the reduction in interest rates, credit investment has not increased due to the decline in the private sector's confidence. He emphasized the need for investment in both industry production capacity and equity capital.
In conclusion, Finance Minister Paudel emphasized the need for strengthening collaboration between the government and Nepal Rastra Bank to improve the financial system and ensure stability.
