Free Stock Market Training Held in Pokhara; Imperial Securities Launches New Services with Branch Expansion
Pokhara: A one-day free stock market training program on basic and technical analysis was successfully conducted in Pokhara on the occasion of Global Money Week 2026. The program was held on Saturday.The event, organized by Imperial Securities Broker No. 45, witnessed a large participation of students from colleges and various universities. The program was also broadcast live through Imperial Securities’ official Facebook page and the Nepse Trading YouTube channel.Speaking at the event, speakers highlighted that a large capital is not required to invest in the stock market. They emphasized that individuals can begin investing with an amount according to their financial capacity. Unlike other sectors, there is no fixed capital requirement, making the stock market accessible to both high-net-worth individuals and ordinary investors.It was also shared that the number of investors in the stock market has been increasing steadily due to the active role of regulatory bodies and brokerage firms. However, the speakers stressed that not all investors may have proper knowledge regarding investment priorities, highlighting the importance of such training programs.The program was chaired by Bhattiram Ghimire, Executive Chairman of Imperial Securities. The Chief Guest of the event was Dr. Nabaraj Adhikari, Executive Director of the Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON). Special guests included Keshav Prasad Timilsina, Chief of Nepal Rastra Bank Gandaki Province, and Shambhu Prasad Mishra, Chief of Insurance Authority Gandaki Province.Senior investor Ambika Prasad Paudel shared insights from over two decades of experience, focusing on fundamental analysis and emphasizing the importance of research and patience in investing. He also stated that long-term investment in fundamentally strong companies yields positive results.Similarly, Sandeep Kumar Chaudhary, Executive Chairman and analyst of Nepse Trading, conducted a special session on both fundamental and technical analysis.The program was formally inaugurated by Chief Guest Dr. Nabaraj Adhikari by lighting the traditional lamp, followed by the national anthem.On the same occasion, Imperial Securities announced the opening of its fifth branch in Pokhara. The company also introduced Portfolio Management Services (PMS) and Margin Trading through Broker No. 45.Additionally, a special offer was announced, providing free Demat account and Mero Share services for one year to clients.Participants expressed that they gained valuable knowledge about the stock market and believed that such programs play a crucial role in empowering investors.
