पेट्रोलियम पदार्थको मूल्य वृद्धि, पेट्रोल १७२ र डिजेल १५२ रुपैयाँ कायमFuel Prices Increased in Nepal: Petrol at Rs 172 and Diesel at Rs 152 per Liter
काठमाडौं । नेपाल आयल निगमले पेट्रोलियम पदार्थको मूल्य बढाएको छ। निगमले आइतबार रातिदेखि लागू हुने गरी पेट्रोल प्रतिलिटर १५ रुपैयाँ तथा डिजेल र मट्टितेल प्रतिलिटर १० रुपैयाँले बढाएको हो।नयाँ मूल्यसूचीअनुसार अब पेट्रोल प्रतिलिटर १७२ रुपैयाँ पुगेको छ भने डिजेल तथा मट्टितेलको मूल्य प्रतिलिटर १५२ रुपैयाँ कायम भएको छ। यसअघि पेट्रोलको मूल्य १५७ रुपैयाँ र डिजेलको मूल्य १४२ रुपैयाँ प्रतिलिटर रहेको थियो।निगमका अनुसार अन्तर्राष्ट्रिय बजारमा इन्धनको मूल्य बढेपछि इन्डियन आयल कर्पोरेसन (आईओसी) बाट उच्च दरको नयाँ मूल्यसूची प्राप्त भएको थियो। तर आईओसीले पठाएको दर पूर्ण रूपमा लागू नगरी उपभोक्तामा कम असर पर्ने गरी आंशिक रूपमा मात्र मूल्य वृद्धि गरिएको निगमले जनाएको छ।भारतबाट पेट्रोल प्रतिलिटर ३१ रुपैयाँ, डिजेल तथा मट्टितेल ५४ रुपैयाँ र एलपी ग्यास २१६ रुपैयाँले बढेर आएको भए पनि निगमले मूल्य स्थिरीकरण कोष र अघिल्लो नाफाबाट केही भार व्यहोर्दै सीमित मात्रामा मात्र मूल्य समायोजन गरेको जनाएको छ।पश्चिम एसियामा बढेको भू–राजनीतिक तनावका कारण अन्तर्राष्ट्रिय बजारमा इन्धनको मूल्य बढेको र त्यसको प्रभाव नेपालमा पनि परेको निगमको भनाइ छ।हालको मूल्य समायोजनपछि पनि आगामी १५ दिनमा निगमलाई करिब ३ अर्ब ९३ करोड रुपैयाँ घाटा हुने अनुमान गरिएको छ। अन्तर्राष्ट्रिय बजारमा मूल्य घटेमा भने तत्कालै मूल्य घटाउने रणनीति अपनाइने निगमले जनाएको छ।
Kathmandu — Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has increased the prices of petroleum products. The new prices came into effect from Sunday night, with petrol rising by Rs 15 per liter and diesel as well as kerosene increasing by Rs 10 per liter.According to the revised price list, petrol now costs Rs 172 per liter, while diesel and kerosene are priced at Rs 152 per liter. Previously, petrol was priced at Rs 157 per liter and diesel at Rs 142 per liter.NOC stated that the price adjustment was made after receiving a new price list from Indian Oil Corporation (IOC), reflecting higher international fuel prices. However, the corporation said it did not fully pass on the increased costs to consumers and instead limited the price hike to reduce the burden on the public.According to NOC, petrol prices from India have increased by Rs 31 per liter, diesel and kerosene by Rs 54 per liter, and LPG by Rs 216 per cylinder. Despite these increases, the corporation has absorbed part of the cost through the Price Stabilization Fund and previous profits, resulting in only a partial adjustment in domestic prices.The corporation attributed the rise in international fuel prices to escalating tensions in West Asia, which have pushed global energy prices upward and consequently affected Nepal.Even after the latest adjustment, NOC estimates it will incur a loss of around Rs 3.93 billion over the next 15 days. The corporation also stated that fuel prices will be reduced immediately if international market prices decline.
