अन्तर्राष्ट्रिय मूल्यवृद्धिको प्रभाव: पेट्रोलियम पदार्थको भाउ पुनः बढ्योFuel Prices Rise Again Amid Global Market Surge
नेपाल आयल निगमले पेट्रोलियम पदार्थको मूल्यमा उल्लेखनीय वृद्धि गरेको छ । निगम सञ्चालक समितिको निर्णयअनुसार शुक्रबार बिहान १२ बजेदेखि लागू हुने गरी पेट्रोल, डिजेल, मट्टीतेल, खाना पकाउने एलपी ग्यास तथा हवाई इन्धनको मूल्य बढाइएको हो । नयाँ व्यवस्थाअनुसार पेट्रोलमा प्रतिलिटर १७ रुपैयाँ, डिजेल र मट्टीतेलमा प्रतिलिटर २५ रुपैयाँका दरले वृद्धि गरिएको छ भने एलपी ग्यास प्रतिसिलिन्डर १०० रुपैयाँले महँगिएको छ । साथै, आन्तरिक हवाई इन्धनमा प्रतिलिटर ६ रुपैयाँ वृद्धि गरिएको छ । यससँगै काठमाडौँ उपत्यकामा पेट्रोलको मूल्य २१९ रुपैयाँ, डिजेल तथा मट्टीतेल २०७ रुपैयाँ, एलपी ग्यास २०१० रुपैयाँ प्रतिसिलिन्डर र आन्तरिक हवाई इन्धन २५७ रुपैयाँ प्रतिलिटर कायम भएको छ । निगमका अनुसार मध्यपूर्वमा जारी द्वन्द्वका कारण अन्तर्राष्ट्रिय बजारमा मूल्य निरन्तर बढिरहेकोले मूल्य समायोजन अपरिहार्य भएको हो । सरकारले करमा आंशिक छुट दिए पनि घाटा नियन्त्रणमा आउन नसकेको भन्दै निगमले मूल्य वृद्धि गरेको जनाएको छ । मूल्य समायोजनपछि पनि निगमले पाक्षिक रूपमा करिब १० अर्ब २१ करोड रुपैयाँ घाटा व्यहोर्नुपरेको दाबी गर्दै उपभोक्तालाई इन्धनको मितव्ययी प्रयोग गर्न आग्रह गरेको छ ।
The Nepal Oil Corporation has significantly increased the prices of petroleum products, effective from 12:00 AM Friday. According to the decision of its board of directors, the prices of petrol, diesel, kerosene, cooking LPG gas, and aviation fuel have all been raised. Petrol prices have increased by Rs. 17 per liter, while diesel and kerosene have gone up by Rs. 25 per liter each. Similarly, the price of LPG has been raised by Rs. 100 per cylinder, and domestic aviation fuel has increased by Rs. 6 per liter. With the new rates, petrol now costs Rs. 219 per liter, diesel and kerosene Rs. 207 per liter, LPG Rs. 2010 per cylinder, and domestic aviation fuel Rs. 257 per liter in the Kathmandu Valley. The corporation stated that the price hike was necessary due to continuous increases in international fuel prices driven by ongoing conflicts in the Middle East. Despite partial tax relief from the government, losses could not be controlled. The corporation claims it will still incur a biweekly loss of around Rs. 10.21 billion and has urged consumers to use petroleum products more efficiently.
