काठमाडौं । ग्लोबल आइएमई बैंक लिमिटेडले आफ्नो १९औं वार्षिक साधारणसभा (AGM) सम्पन्न गर्दै आर्थिक वर्ष २०८१/८२ (FY 2024/25) को नाफाबाट ८ प्रतिशत नगद लाभांश वितरण गर्ने निर्णय गरेको छ। सभामा अध्यक्ष चन्द्र प्रसाद ढकालले प्रस्तुत गरेको प्रस्ताव सर्वसम्मत रूपमा पारित गरिएको हो।
अध्यक्ष ढकालले बैंकको सुदृढ वित्तीय स्थिति र लगानीकर्ताप्रतिको प्रतिबद्धता झल्किने गरी लाभांश वितरण गरिएको उल्लेख गर्दै बैंकले आगामी वर्षहरूमा पनि पूँजी सुदृढता र लगानीकर्ताको विश्वास कायम राख्ने बताए।
आर्थिक वर्ष २०८१/८२ मा बैंकले ७ अर्ब २३ करोड रुपैयाँ सञ्चालन नाफा र ५ अर्ब ७ करोड रुपैयाँ खुद नाफा आर्जन गरेको जनाएको छ। यस नतिजाले ग्लोबल आइएमई बैंकलाई नेपालको अग्रणी वाणिज्य बैंकहरूको श्रेणीमा थप मजबुत बनाएको छ।
सभामा आगामी रणनीतिक प्राथमिकताहरू पनि प्रस्तुत गरियो—जसमा व्यवसाय विस्तार, सञ्चालन दक्षता वृद्धि, डिजिटल रूपान्तरण र ग्राहक विश्वास अभिवृद्धि मुख्य फोकसका रूपमा रहेको छ। बैंकले देशभर वित्तीय पहुँच विस्तार र समावेशी बैंकिङ प्रवर्द्धनमा ध्यान केन्द्रित गर्ने योजना प्रस्तुत गरेको छ।
ग्लोबल आइएमई बैंक नेपालको सवै ७७ जिल्लामा शाखा विस्तार गर्ने पहिलो निजी क्षेत्रको बैंक बनेको छ। हाल बैंकले डिजिटल बैंकिङ, ईएसजी (पर्यावरणीय, सामाजिक र सुशासन) अभ्यास र दिगोपनाका क्षेत्रमा उल्लेखनीय प्रगति गरेको छ।
बैंकले हालै “बेस्ट बैंक नेपाल २०२४ र २०२५” तथा “बेस्ट बैंक ईएसजी नेपाल २०२४” जस्ता राष्ट्रिय र अन्तर्राष्ट्रिय पुरस्कार प्राप्त गर्दै आफ्नो नवप्रवर्तनशीलता र उत्तरदायी बैंकिङ अभ्यास प्रमाणित गरेको छ।
सभामा बैंकको विदेशी रोजगार रेमिट्यान्स सेवा क्षेत्रमा महत्त्वपूर्ण भूमिका रहेको र यसले देशको अर्थतन्त्रमा ठोस योगदान पुर्याइरहेको उल्लेख गरिएको थियो।
१९औं वार्षिक साधारणसभा मार्फत बैंकले आफ्नो स्थायित्व, भविष्यमुखी रणनीति र समावेशी तथा दिगो बैंकिङप्रतिको प्रतिबद्धता पुनः पुष्टि गरेको छ।
Kathmandu — Global IME Bank Limited successfully held its 19th Annual General Meeting (AGM) in Kathmandu, approving an 8% cash dividend to shareholders from the profit of fiscal year 2024/25. The proposal, presented by Chairman Chandra Prasad Dhakal, was unanimously approved by the shareholders.
Chairman Dhakal highlighted that the dividend reflects the bank’s strong financial health, commitment to rewarding investors, and continued focus on capital strength.
For FY 2024/25, the bank reported an operating profit of NPR 7.23 billion and a net profit of NPR 5.07 billion, reinforcing its position among Nepal’s leading commercial banks.
During the AGM, the bank outlined its strategic priorities for the coming years — including business expansion, operational efficiency, digital transformation, and strengthening customer trust — with a clear focus on promoting financial inclusion across the nation.
Global IME Bank remains the first private sector bank with presence in all 77 districts of Nepal. The bank continues to make significant progress in digital banking and ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) initiatives, integrating sustainability into its growth strategy.
