Global IME Bank Introduces Account Opening Facility via Kiosk Machine

Global IME Bank Limited has launched a new facility that allows customers to open bank accounts through kiosk machines, aiming to provide simpler and more convenient banking services. This facility was introduced on the occasion of the bank's 19th anniversary.

Now, customers can easily open their bank accounts using the kiosk machines available at the bank's branch office in Kamaladi, Kathmandu. In this process, customers will be required to enter their details into the kiosk machine and provide the necessary documents before receiving their account number.

Currently, this service is available only at the Digital Universe in Kamaladi. Previously, the bank had also been offering cash and check deposit services through the Digital Universe.

In the future, the bank plans to expand this service to other locations. Global IME Bank has received various national and international awards, including 'Bank of the Year 2014', 'Best Internet Bank 2016', 'Best Bank Nepal 2024 and 2025', 'Euro Money Award for Excellence 2022, 2024, and 2025', among others.
