ग्लोबल आइएमई बैंकलाई ‘युरो मनी अवार्ड फर एक्सलेन्स २०२५’Global IME Bank Wins “Euromoney Award for Excellence 2025”
ग्लोबल आइएमई बैंक लिमिटेडले यस वर्षको ‘युरो मनी अवार्ड फर एक्सलेन्स २०२५’ अन्तर्गत बेष्ट बैंक अवार्ड प्राप्त गरेको छ। मंगलबार सिंगापुरमा आयोजित एक विशेष समारोहमा युरो मनी म्यागजिनका प्रतिनिधिले अवार्ड बैंकका सञ्चालक समिति सदस्य रामबहादुर भण्डारी र ट्रेजरी तथा करेस्पोन्डेन्ट बैंकिङ विभागका म्यानेजर शिशिर शाक्यलाई हस्तान्तरण गरेका थिए।
सन् १९९२ मा स्थापना गरिएको यो अवार्डलाई बैंकिङ क्षेत्रको प्रतिष्ठित अवार्डमध्ये एक मानिन्छ। बैंकका अनुसार उत्कृष्ट ग्राहक सेवा, मजबुत वित्तीय अवस्था, संस्थागत सामाजिक उत्तरदायित्व (CSR), नयाँ प्रविधिको उपयोग, वातावरणीय–सामाजिक–सुशासन (ESG) मा गरेको लगानी तथा उच्चस्तरीय कार्यसम्पादनका आधारमा यस वर्ष ग्लोबल आइएमई बैंकलाई सम्मानित गरिएको हो।
तेस्रो पटकको ‘बेष्ट बैंक’ सम्मान
यस अवार्डसँगै ग्लोबल आइएमई बैंकले तेस्रो पटक ‘बेष्ट बैंक’ को उपाधि हासिल गरेको छ। यसअघि बैंकले युरो मनी अवार्ड फर एक्सलेन्स २०२२ र २०२४ मा पनि बेष्ट बैंक अवार्ड जितिसकेको थियो। यस्तै, बैंकले ग्लोबल फाइनान्सको बेष्ट बैंक अवार्ड २०२४ र २०२५ तथा युरो मनी अवार्ड फर एक्सलेन्स २०२४ अन्तर्गत नेपालकै सर्वश्रेष्ठ बैंकको उपाधि पनि हात पारेको थियो।
देशव्यापी सञ्जाल र अन्तर्राष्ट्रिय सेवा
ग्लोबल आइएमई बैंक मुलुकभरका सतहत्तरै जिल्लामा शाखा सञ्जाल विस्तार गर्न सफल निजी क्षेत्रको पहिलो वाणिज्य बैंक हो। बैंकका हाल ३५२ शाखा कार्यालय, ३८४ एटिएम, १५५ शाखा रहित बैंकिङ सेवा, ६८ एक्सटेन्सन तथा राजश्व संकलन काउन्टर र ३ विदेशी प्रतिनिधि कार्यालयमार्फत १,००० भन्दा बढी सेवा केन्द्रहरू सञ्चालनमा रहेका छन्।
यससँगै बैंकले नेपालभित्र मात्र होइन, अमेरिका, बेलायत, क्यानडा, अष्ट्रेलिया, मलेसिया, दक्षिण कोरिया, जापान, साउदी अरब, कतार, यूएई, बहराइन, कुवेत, भारत, जोर्डन लगायतका देशहरूबाट रेमिट्यान्स सेवा पनि उपलब्ध गराउँदै आएको छ।
Global IME Bank Limited has been honored with the “Best Bank Award” under the Euromoney Award for Excellence 2025. The award was presented at a special ceremony held in Singapore on Tuesday, where representatives of Euromoney Magazine handed over the award to the bank’s Board of Directors member Ram Bahadur Bhandari and Treasury & Correspondent Banking Department Manager Shishir Shakya.
Established in 1992, the Euromoney Award for Excellence is regarded as one of the most prestigious recognitions in the global banking sector. According to the bank, the award was conferred based on its customer service, strong financial performance, corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives, adoption of new technologies, investment in environmental, social, and governance (ESG) areas, and overall high-level performance.
Third Time Winning the Best Bank Title
With this year’s achievement, Global IME Bank has now received the “Best Bank” title for the third time. Earlier, the bank had also won the Euromoney Award for Excellence Best Bank titles in 2022 and 2024. Additionally, Global IME Bank secured the Global Finance Best Bank Awards in 2024 and 2025, as well as recognition as Nepal’s Best Bank under two categories of the Euromoney Award for Excellence 2024.

Global IME Bank is the first commercial bank from the private sector to expand its branch network across all 77 districts of Nepal. Currently, it operates through 352 branch offices, 384 ATMs, 155 branchless banking outlets, 68 extension and revenue collection counters, and 3 foreign representative offices, totaling over 1,000 service centers.
