Gold and Silver Prices Continue to Fall for Third Consecutive Day

Gold and silver prices declined again in the Nepali market on Thursday, extending their downward trend for the third consecutive day. The price of gold dropped by NPR 1,400 per tola in a single day, while silver fell by NPR 55 per tola, reflecting continued weakness in the precious metals market.

According to the Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers Federation, gold is currently trading at NPR 259,600 per tola on Thursday. On Wednesday, gold was traded at NPR 261,000 per tola. The sustained decline over the past three days is largely attributed to fluctuations in the international bullion market.

Similarly, silver prices fell by NPR 55 per tola to NPR 4,415 on Thursday, compared to NPR 4,470 per tola in the previous trading session. Traders say the continuous fall in prices has also impacted overall market activity, with buyers remaining cautious amid ongoing volatility.
