Gold and Silver Prices Decline

Gold and silver prices declined in the Nepali market on Thursday, January 8, 2026. According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of gold fell by NPR 2,000 per tola to NPR 265,700 today, compared to NPR 267,700 per tola on Wednesday. Similarly, silver prices also decreased by NPR 100 per tola and are currently being traded at NPR 4,835 per tola. On the previous trading day, silver was traded at NPR 4,935 per tola.
