Gold and silver prices have declined significantly in the domestic market today. According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, both metals recorded notable losses compared to the previous trading day.
Gold price fell by NPR 6,900 per tola, bringing the new trading rate down to NPR 242,800 per tola. The market has seen continuous fluctuations in recent days, adding uncertainty for both investors and buyers.
Similarly, silver price dropped by NPR 150 per tola, and is currently being traded at NPR 3,135 per tola, the federation reported.
Market analysts say the decline reflects adjustments in the international bullion market, along with reduced domestic demand. Due to ongoing volatility, consumers and investors are currently exercising caution in the gold and silver market.
