Gold Inches Up, Silver Soars to Record High

On Monday, September 15, the Nepali market witnessed a slight increase in the price of gold, while silver continued to climb to new record highs. According to the Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, hallmark gold was traded at NPR 215,200 per tola, up NPR 100 from Sunday’s price of NPR 215,100.
Similarly, silver prices maintained their upward momentum, reaching NPR 2,575 per tola on Monday, compared to NPR 2,570 per tola on Sunday. The consistent surge has pushed silver to its highest level ever recorded in the domestic market.
