After falling for three consecutive days, the price of gold in the Nepali market has increased slightly today. According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of gold has risen by Rs 700 per tola, reaching Rs 252,900 per tola.
Gold prices had been declining continuously on Thursday, Friday, and Sunday. On Sunday alone, the price had dropped by Rs 200 per tola, while it had fallen by Rs 900 on Friday and Rs 800 on Thursday.
Earlier this year, on Asoj 31, gold had reached its highest-ever price of Rs 258,800 per tola.
While gold recorded a rise today, silver prices fell. The federation reported that silver decreased by Rs 20 per tola, settling at Rs 3,585 per tola.
Analysts say the recent fluctuations in gold and silver prices reflect global market trends as well as changes in local demand and supply conditions.
