स्टार्टअप विशेषज्ञ र लगानीकर्तालाई निःशुल्क आवासीय भिसाGovernment to Provide Free Residential Visas for Startup Experts and Investors, Digital Visas for Remote Foreign Workers
काठमाडौं, जेठ १५ – सरकारले स्टार्टअप व्यवसायमा संलग्न विषय विशेषज्ञ तथा लगानीकर्तालाई निःशुल्क आवासीय भिसा प्रदान गर्ने घोषणा गरेको छ।
आगामी आर्थिक वर्ष २०८२/०८३ को बजेट प्रस्तुत गर्दै अर्थमन्त्री विष्णुप्रसाद पौडेलले नेपालमा स्टार्टअप प्रवर्द्धन गर्न अन्तर्राष्ट्रिय विशेषज्ञ र लगानीकर्तालाई आकर्षित गर्न निःशुल्क भिसा सुविधा दिने नीति ल्याइएको जानकारी दिएका हुन्।
साथै, नेपालमा बसेर विदेशी कम्पनीहरूको लागि रिमोट वर्क गर्ने व्यक्तिहरूलाई ‘डिजिटल भिसा’ उपलब्ध गराइने व्यवस्था बजेटमा गरिएको छ।
सरकारको यो निर्णयले विदेशी सीप र पूँजी भित्र्याउन, डिजिटल अर्थतन्त्रलाई प्रवर्द्धन गर्न र नेपाललाई स्टार्टअप तथा रिमोट वर्क डेस्टिनेसका रूपमा स्थापित गर्न टेवा पुर्याउने अपेक्षा गरिएको छ।
Kathmandu, May 29 – The Government of Nepal has announced that subject-matter experts and investors involved in startup businesses will be granted free residential visas.
While presenting the budget for the fiscal year 2082/83, Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Paudel stated that the initiative aims to attract international expertise and investment to promote Nepal’s startup ecosystem.
Additionally, the government will introduce a "Digital Visa" for foreign nationals working remotely for overseas companies while residing in Nepal.
This move is expected to support the inflow of foreign talent and capital, boost the digital economy, and position Nepal as a favorable destination for startups and remote work professionals.
