हङकङमा ‘गोर्खाज फाइनान्स लिमिटेड’को शुभारम्भGrand Inauguration of ‘Gorkhas Finance Limited’ in Hong Kong
हङकङमा नेपाली समुदायलाई लक्षित गरी गोर्खाज फाइनान्स लिमिटेडको भव्य शुभारम्भ गरिएको छ।
शुभारम्भ कार्यक्रममा कम्पनीका निर्देशक आकाश बन्जाराले गोर्खाज फाइनान्सलाई हङकङमा नेपाली समाजका लागि एउटा बैंक सरहको संस्था बनाउने र नेपाली समुदायलाई एकीकृत गर्ने मुख्य उद्देश्य रहेको घोषणा गरे।
नेपालबाट आएका नबिल बैंकका प्रमुख कार्यकारी अधिकृत मनोज ज्ञवाली र युवा उद्यमी हिक्मतजंग कार्कीलगायतका विशिष्ट अतिथिहरुको उपस्थितिमा सम्पन्न उक्त कार्यक्रममा कम्पनीको नेतृत्व डीके दाहाल, आकाश बन्जारा, बिबश सुवेदीसहित ४७ जना सेयरधनीहरूको टोलीले गरिरहेको जानकारी दिइयो।
अध्यक्ष डीके दाहालले लगानीकर्ताहरुलाई एकजुट भई गोर्खाज फाइनान्सलाई बैंकमा रूपान्तरण गर्न आह्वान गरे। सोही क्रममा संचालक आकाश बन्जाराले हङकङमा नेपाली समाजलाई एकताबद्ध गरी आफ्नै बैंकको आवश्यकता पूरा गर्ने लक्ष्यसहित अघि बढेको स्पष्ट पारे। कम्पनीले रेमिटेन्ससहित विभिन्न वित्तीय सेवा प्रदान गर्दै भविष्यमा अग्रणी नेपाली बैंकका रूपमा स्थापित हुने लक्ष्य राखेको उनले बताए।
कार्यक्रममा अर्को महत्वपूर्ण घोषणा गर्दै आगामी ६ महिनाभित्र नबिल बैंकको प्रतिनिधि कार्यालय हङकङमा स्थापना गरिने जानकारी दिइयो, जसले वित्तीय कारोबारलाई अझ सहज बनाउने अपेक्षा गरिएको छ।
भारत, चीन, मकाउ, ताइवानका पाहुनासहित हङकङका व्यवसायी, सामाजिक अगुवा तथा अन्तर्राष्ट्रिय व्यक्तित्वहरूको बाक्लो उपस्थिति रहेको कार्यक्रममा बैंक अफ अमेरिकाका प्रबन्ध निर्देशक सुरज राई, फाइनेक्स हङकङका निर्देशक सोयना ढकाल, इन्टरनेशनल यंग डेमोक्रेटिक युनियनका उपाध्यक्ष हिक्मतजंग कार्की लगायतले मन्तव्य दिएका थिए।
कार्यक्रमलाई सफल बनाउन रजनीश भट्टराई, चित गुरुङ, राम कँडेल, क्षितिज न्यौपाने, निश्चल दाहाल, यम गुरुङ लगायतले महत्वपूर्ण योगदान पु¥याएका थिए। सागर थापाको नेतृत्वमा सागर म्यानेजमेन्ट एचकेले व्यवस्थापन गरेको कार्यक्रममा सुरेश थापाले प्राविधिक सहयोग तथा अनोज रोकाले सञ्चालन गरेका थिए।
Gorkhas Finance Limited has been grandly inaugurated in Hong Kong, targeting the Nepali community and aiming to establish itself as a financial institution equivalent to a bank.
At the inauguration ceremony, company director Akash Banjara announced that the primary goal of Gorkhas Finance is to unite the Nepali community in Hong Kong and provide financial services comparable to a full-fledged bank.
The program was attended by distinguished guests from Nepal, including Nabil Bank CEO Manoj Gyawali and young entrepreneur Hikmat Jung Karki. The company is being led by a team of 47 shareholders, including DK Dahal, Akash Banjara, and Bibash Subedi.
Welcoming the attendees, Chairman DK Dahal urged all investors to work together with a common vision to transform Gorkhas Finance into a bank. Director Akash Banjara further emphasized that the initiative was launched to fulfill the long-felt need for a Nepali-owned bank in Hong Kong, adding that the company aims to offer remittance and other financial services, with the ultimate goal of becoming a leading Nepali bank in the region.
On the occasion, a major announcement was also made that Nabil Bank will establish a representative office in Hong Kong within six months, which is expected to facilitate financial transactions for the Nepali diaspora.
The event saw a strong presence of guests from India, China, Macau, and Taiwan, along with local business leaders and community figures in Hong Kong. Among the keynote speakers were Suraj Rai, Managing Director and CIO at Bank of America; Soyona Dhakal, Director of Finex Hong Kong Ltd.; and Hikmat Jung Karki, Vice President of the International Young Democratic Union.
The success of the program was credited to the tireless efforts of Rajneesh Bhattarai, Chit Gurung, Ram Kandel, Kshitiz Nyaupane, Nischal Dahal, and Yam Gurung. Event management was handled by Sagar Management HK, led by Sagar Thapa, with technical support from Suresh Thapa, and stage hosting by Anoj Roka, which added further attraction to the event.
