हेवा खोला ‘ए’ जलविद्युत आयोजना बाढीपछि पुनः सञ्चालनमाHewa Khola ‘A’ Hydropower Project Resumes Operation After Flood Disruption
काठमाडौं — पाँचथर पावर कम्पनी लिमिटेडले संचालित हेवा खोला ‘ए’ जलविद्युत आयोजना बाढीका कारण बन्द भएपछि पुनः सञ्चालनमा आएको छ। कम्पनीले नेपाल धितोपत्र बोर्ड, नेपाल स्टक एक्सचेन्ज र सिडिएस एण्ड क्लियरिङ लिमिटेडलाई जानकारी दिँदै आयोजना सञ्चालन अब सामान्य अवस्थामा फर्किएको जनाएको छ।
कम्पनीका अनुसार, पाँचथर जिल्लास्थित १४.९ मेगावाट क्षमताको हेवा खोला ‘ए’ आयोजना मिति २०८२ असोज १८ गते राति करिब १२ बजे अविरल वर्षाका कारण आएको बाढीले प्रभावित बनेको थियो। बाढीका कारण प्लान्ट इर्मेर्जेन्सी रूपमा बन्द गर्नुपरेको र टेलरेस (Tailrace) क्षेत्रमा समस्या देखिएको कम्पनीले जनाएको छ।
तर, तत्काल मर्मत कार्य सम्पन्न गरेपछि आयोजना मिति २०८२ असोज २१ गते साँझ ४:११ बजे पुनः सञ्चालनमा आएको हो। कम्पनी सचिव सुन्दर मणि सुवेदीले जारी गरेको सूचनामा आयोजना पुनः सञ्चालनमा आएको जानकारी सम्बन्धित निकायहरूलाई औपचारिक रूपमा दिइएको उल्लेख छ।
हेवा खोला ‘ए’ आयोजना हाल पुनः बिजुली उत्पादन गर्दै राष्ट्रिय प्रसारण प्रणालीमा विद्युत आपूर्ति गरिरहेको कम्पनीले जनाएको छ।
Kathmandu — Panchthar Power Company Limited has announced that its Hewa Khola ‘A’ Hydropower Project has resumed full operation after being temporarily shut down due to flooding. The company informed the Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON), Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE), and CDS and Clearing Limited (CDSC) that the plant is now operating normally again.
According to the company, the 14.9 MW Hewa Khola ‘A’ Hydropower Project, located in Panchthar District, was forced to shut down on the night of Ashwin 18, 2082 (around midnight) after continuous rainfall caused severe flooding in the area. The flood damaged the tailrace section of the plant, leading to an emergency shutdown of operations.
After immediate repair and maintenance work, the plant resumed power generation on Ashwin 21, 2082 at 4:11 PM. The official notice, signed by Company Secretary Sundar Mani Subedi, confirmed that operations have returned to normal and the project is once again supplying electricity to the national grid.
The company has also communicated the update to relevant authorities, including the Department of Electricity Development and the Electricity Regulatory Commission, ensuring transparency regarding the incident and recovery.
