नेपालको मदिरा उत्पादन क्षेत्रमा सक्रिय हिमालयन डिस्टिलरी लिमिटेडले चालु आर्थिक वर्ष २०८२/८३ को तेस्रो त्रैमाससम्म उल्लेखनीय वित्तीय सुधार प्रस्तुत गरेको छ। कम्पनीले चैत मसान्तसम्म ८५ करोड १३ लाख रुपैयाँ खुद नाफा आर्जन गरेको छ, जुन अघिल्लो आर्थिक वर्षको सोही अवधिको तुलनामा १५.१६ प्रतिशतले बढी हो। गत वर्ष यसै अवधिमा कम्पनीले ७३ करोड ९२ लाख रुपैयाँ नाफा कमाएको थियो।
कम्पनीको सञ्चालन आम्दानीमा पनि सकारात्मक वृद्धि देखिएको छ। अघिल्लो वर्ष ५ अर्ब ३५ करोड ८३ लाख रुपैयाँ रहेको सञ्चालन आम्दानी बढेर चालु वर्षमा ५ अर्ब ७१ करोड रुपैयाँ पुगेको छ। उत्पादन लागतमा आएको कमीले नाफा वृद्धिमा महत्वपूर्ण योगदान पुर्याएको कम्पनीले जनाएको छ, जसले सञ्चालन दक्षता सुधार भएको संकेत गर्दछ।
त्यसैगरी, कम्पनीको खुद बिक्री आम्दानी पनि उल्लेखनीय रूपमा बढेको छ। समीक्षा अवधिमा यस्तो आम्दानी ३ अर्ब ९ करोड रुपैयाँ पुगेको छ, जुन अघिल्लो वर्षको २ अर्ब ७८ करोड रुपैयाँको तुलनामा १०.९९ प्रतिशतले बढी हो। यद्यपि अन्य सञ्चालन आम्दानी भने केही घट्दै ५ करोड ४० लाख रुपैयाँबाट ४ करोड ४८ लाख रुपैयाँमा सीमित भएको देखिन्छ।
नाफा वृद्धिसँगै कम्पनीको सञ्चालन मुनाफामा पनि सुधार आएको छ। चालु आर्थिक वर्षको तेस्रो त्रैमाससम्म सञ्चालन मुनाफा १ अर्ब १६ करोड रुपैयाँ पुगेको छ, जबकि अघिल्लो वर्ष यही अवधिमा ९८ करोड ६७ लाख रुपैयाँ मात्र थियो। यसले कम्पनीको व्यवसायिक प्रदर्शन सुदृढ बन्दै गएको संकेत गर्दछ।
कम्पनीको वित्तीय आधार पनि मजबुत हुँदै गएको देखिन्छ। ३ अर्ब ६८ करोड ८० लाख रुपैयाँ चुक्ता पुँजी रहेको कम्पनीको जगेडा कोष ८८ करोड ७६ लाख रुपैयाँबाट बढेर १ अर्ब १७ करोड रुपैयाँ पुगेको छ। नाफा वृद्धि भएसँगै प्रतिसेयर आम्दानी (EPS) २६.७३ रुपैयाँबाट बढेर ३०.७८ रुपैयाँ पुगेको छ।
यससँगै कम्पनीको प्रतिसेयर नेटवर्थ १३१.८० रुपैयाँ कायम रहेको छ भने पी/ई अनुपात ३७.९५ गुणा रहेको छ। तरलता अनुपात ५.०९ प्रतिशत रहेकोले छोटो अवधिको दायित्व व्यवस्थापनमा कम्पनी सन्तुलित अवस्थामा रहेको देखिन्छ।
समग्रमा, बिक्री विस्तार, लागत नियन्त्रण र सञ्चालन दक्षताको सुधारले हिमालयन डिस्टिलरीको वित्तीय अवस्थालाई थप बलियो बनाएको देखिन्छ, जसले आगामी दिनमा लगानीकर्तामा सकारात्मक संकेत दिन सक्ने अपेक्षा गरिएको छ।
Himalayan Distillery Limited has posted a strong financial performance for the third quarter of the current fiscal year 2025/26, reporting a net profit of NPR 851.3 million. This marks a 15.16% increase compared to the same period last fiscal year, when the company earned NPR 739.2 million.
The company’s operating income has also shown a steady rise, increasing from NPR 5.35 billion to NPR 5.71 billion during the review period. According to the company, improved cost efficiency—particularly a reduction in production costs—played a key role in boosting overall profitability, reflecting better operational performance.
Similarly, net sales revenue recorded notable growth, reaching NPR 3.09 billion, which is 10.99% higher than the NPR 2.78 billion reported in the corresponding period last year. However, other operating income declined slightly from NPR 54 million to NPR 44.8 million.
Operating profit also improved significantly, rising to NPR 1.16 billion from NPR 986.7 million in the previous year. This indicates stronger core business performance and better margin management.
From a financial position standpoint, the company continues to strengthen its reserves. With a paid-up capital of NPR 3.68 billion, its reserve fund has grown from NPR 887.6 million to NPR 1.17 billion. Earnings per share (EPS) increased from NPR 26.73 to NPR 30.78, reflecting improved returns for shareholders.
The company’s net worth per share stands at NPR 131.80, while its price-to-earnings (P/E) ratio is 37.95 times. The liquidity ratio is reported at 5.09%, suggesting a stable short-term financial position.
Overall, the company’s growth in sales, cost control, and operational efficiency has strengthened its financial outlook, signaling a positive trajectory for investors in the coming quarters.
