भारतबाट बिजुली आपूर्ति बन्द: सुनसरी-मोरङ औद्योगिक क्षेत्रमा लोडसेडिङIndia Halts 600 MW Power Supply: Sunsari-Morang Industrial Area Faces Load-Shedding
भारतबाट ६ सय मेगावाट बिजुली आपूर्ति बन्द भएपछि नेपालको औद्योगिक क्षेत्रमा फेरि लोडसेडिङको समस्या देखिएको छ। सुनसरीको मोरङ औद्योगिक क्षेत्रका उद्योगहरूले सोमबार साँझ ५ बजेदेखि नै १३ घण्टासम्म लोडसेडिङको मार खेप्नुपरेको छ। औद्योगिक क्षेत्रमा साँझ ५ बजेदेखि बिहानसम्म ६ घण्टाको विद्युत् कटौती सुरु भएको हो।
यसैबीच, भारतका ऊर्जा, सहरी आवास तथा संसदीय मामिलामन्त्री मनोहरलाल खट्टर हाल नेपाल भ्रमणमा छन्। उनी मंगलबार काठमाडौं आइपुगेका हुन्। भारतको सहयोगमा निर्माण भइरहेको प्रसारणलाइनको उद्घाटन गर्न र अरुण-३ जलविद्युत् आयोजनाको अवलोकन गर्न नेपालका ऊर्जामन्त्री दीपक खड्काले उनलाई आमन्त्रण गरेका थिए।
खट्टर नेपालमा रहेकै बेला भारतले बिजुली आपूर्ति कटौती गरेको घटनालाई अर्थपूर्ण मानिएको छ। यो कटौतीले नेपालको औद्योगिक क्षेत्रमा उत्पादन र अर्थतन्त्रमा नकारात्मक असर पर्न सक्ने चिन्ता व्यक्त गरिएको छ।
औद्योगिक क्षेत्रका प्रतिनिधिहरूले विद्युत् आपूर्ति तत्काल सुचारु गर्न र लोडसेडिङको समस्या समाधान गर्न सरकारसँग माग गरेका छन्।
The suspension of 600 megawatts of electricity supply from India has plunged Nepal's industrial sector into a renewed crisis of load-shedding. Industries in the Sunsari-Morang industrial area have been enduring up to 13 hours of power cuts since Monday evening, with outages occurring from 5 PM to 6 AM daily.
Coinciding with this disruption, India's Minister for Power, Urban Housing, and Parliamentary Affairs, Manohar Lal Khattar, is currently on a visit to Nepal. He arrived in Kathmandu on Tuesday at the invitation of Nepal's Energy Minister, Deepak Khadka, to inaugurate a transmission line constructed with Indian assistance and to inspect the Arun-3 hydropower project.
The timing of India's power supply cut, while Khattar is in Nepal, is considered significant. This disruption is likely to negatively impact production and the economy in Nepal's industrial sector.
Representatives from the industrial area have urged the government to immediately restore the power supply and address the load-shedding issue to mitigate further losses.
