भारतका प्रधानमन्त्री नरेन्द्र मोदीद्वारा सर्वदलीय बैठक आह्वान, भिड्ने तयारीमा भारत र पाकिस्तानIndian PM Narendra Modi Calls All-Party Meeting
भारतका प्रधानमन्त्री नरेन्द्र मोदीले जम्मु काश्मिरको पहलगाममा भएको आतंकवादी हमलाको विषयमा छलफल गर्न सर्वदलीय बैठक बोलाएका छन्। मंगलबार राति पहलगाममा भएको उक्त हमलामा पाकिस्तानी आतंकवादी संगठनले नेपाली पर्यटक सुदीप न्यौपानेसहित २८ जनाको हत्या गरेको थियो। हमलामा दर्जनौं व्यक्ति घाइते भएका छन्।
यस हमलापछि साउदी अरबको भ्रमणमा रहेका प्रधानमन्त्री मोदीले आफ्नो भ्रमण छोट्याएर स्वदेश फर्किएका छन्। भारत सरकारले कडा कदम चाल्दै पाकिस्तानी नागरिकलाई ४८ घण्टाभित्र भारत छाड्न आदेश दिएको छ। साथै, पाकिस्तानबाट आफ्ना कूटनीतिज्ञहरूलाई फिर्ता बोलाएको छ।
भारतले पाकिस्तानसँगको सिन्धु जल सन्धि स्थगित गर्ने निर्णय पनि गरेको छ। सन् १९६० मा भएको यो सन्धि दुई देशबीचको सफल अन्तर्राष्ट्रिय सम्झौताको रूपमा मानिन्छ। युद्धका बेला समेत अक्षुण्ण रहेको यो सन्धि पहिलो पटक खारेजीको अवस्थामा पुगेको छ।
यसैगरी, पाकिस्तानी नागरिकले सार्क सदस्य राष्ट्रका हैसियतमा पाउँदै आएको भिसा छुट सुविधा बन्द गरिएको छ। पञ्जाबको अटारीमा रहेको एकीकृत चेकपोस्ट पनि बन्द गर्ने निर्णय भारत सरकारले गरेको छ।
यता, पाकिस्तानले भारतको आरोपलाई गैरजिम्मेवार भन्दै राष्ट्रिय सुरक्षा समितिको बैठक बोलाएको छ। पाकिस्तानी प्रधानमन्त्री शहबाज शरीफले पछिल्लो अवस्थाको विश्लेषण गर्न यो बैठक आह्वान गरेका हुन्। रेडियो पाकिस्तानका अनुसार यो बैठकले भारतको कदमविरुद्ध जवाफी रणनीति बनाउने सम्भावना छ।
पहलगाम हमलाले दक्षिण एसियाको क्षेत्रीय स्थायित्वमा गम्भीर प्रश्न उठाएको छ। भारत र पाकिस्तानबीचको तनावले क्षेत्रीय सहयोग र शान्तिमा थप चुनौती थपिएको छ।
Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has convened an all-party meeting to discuss the recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir. The attack, carried out by a Pakistani terrorist organization on Tuesday night, claimed the lives of 28 people, including Nepali tourist Sudeep Nyaupane, and left several others injured.
Cutting short his visit to Saudi Arabia, PM Modi returned to India following the attack. The Indian government has taken stringent measures, ordering Pakistani citizens to leave India within 48 hours and recalling its diplomats from Pakistan.
India has also decided to suspend the Indus Water Treaty with Pakistan, a landmark agreement signed in 1960 that has remained intact even during past conflicts between the two nations. Additionally, the visa-free facility for Pakistani citizens under SAARC arrangements has been revoked, and the Attari Integrated Check Post on the Punjab border has been closed.
In response, Pakistan has called a National Security Committee meeting, with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif condemning India’s allegations as “irresponsible.” According to Radio Pakistan, the meeting aims to analyze the situation and formulate a response to India’s actions.
The Pahalgam attack has raised serious concerns about regional stability in South Asia, further straining India-Pakistan relations and posing challenges to peace and cooperation in the region.
