बीमा प्राधिकरणले मेलमिलाप तथा मध्यस्थतासम्बन्धी कार्यविधि, २०८१ लागू गरेको छ। यस कार्यविधिको मुख्य उद्देश्य प्राधिकरणबाट मेलमिलाप तथा मध्यस्थताको प्रक्रियाको माध्यमद्वारा विवादको निरुपण गर्ने हो। कार्यविधिमा समितिको संरचना र काम कर्तव्य अधिकारहरू समेत समावेश गरिएको छ।

समितिको संरचना:
संयोजक: प्राधिकरणका अध्यक्ष।
सदस्यहरू: प्राधिकरणका कार्यकारी निर्देशक, कानून तथा नियमन महाशाखा प्रमुख, उजुरी शाखा प्रमुख।
सदस्यसचिव: अध्यक्षले तोकेको उजुरी शाखाको एक जना अधिकृत।
समयावधि:
प्राधिकरणले तोकेको समयावधिभित्र मेलमिलाप तथा मध्यस्थता सम्बन्धी काम सम्पन्न हुन नसकेमा र मेलमिलापको पर्याप्त सम्भावना भएमा समितिले पक्षहरूको सहमति लिई समयावधि थप गर्न सक्नेछ।

कार्यविधिमा समितिले पालना गर्नुपर्ने मुख्य कुराहरू समावेश गरिएको छ, जसले विवाद समाधानलाई सहज बनाउने उद्देश्य राखेको छ।
