नेपालमा बीमाको पहुँच नयाँ रेकर्डमा: ४७.३९ प्रतिशत नागरिकमा पुग्योInsurance Penetration Reaches 47.39% in Nepal
नेपालमा बीमाको पहुँच हालसम्मकै उच्च ४७.३९ प्रतिशत नागरिकमा पुगेको छ। नेपाल बीमा प्राधिकरणका अनुसार, बैशाख मसान्तसम्म बीमाको पहुँच २.७५ प्रतिशतले वृद्धि भएको हो। यसअघि गत चैत मसान्तमा ४४.६४ प्रतिशतको रेकर्ड थियो।
म्यादी, लघु म्यादी र वैदेशिक रोजगार जीवन बीमालेख हटाउँदा १६.७७ प्रतिशत नागरिकमा बीमा पहुँच पुगेको छ, भने वैदेशिक रोजगार जीवन बीमालेख बाहेक ३९.३१ प्रतिशत नागरिकमा बीमा पहुँच पुगेको छ। सक्रिय जीवन बीमालेखको संख्या १ करोड ५३ लाख ६ हजार ९९३ पुगेको छ।
बीमाशुल्क संकलनमा १५.५५ प्रतिशतको वृद्धि हुँदै चालु वर्षको बैशाख मसान्तसम्म १ खर्ब ४० अर्ब ३५ करोड रुपैयाँ संकलन भएको छ। बीमा क्षेत्रको विकासमा लघुबीमा कम्पनीहरूको आगमन र बीमा प्राधिकरणको स्थानीय स्तरमा गरिएको कार्यक्रमले योगदान पुर्याएको छ।
Insurance penetration in Nepal has reached an all-time high of 47.39%, according to the latest data from the Insurance Board of Nepal. This marks a 2.75% increase from the previous record of 44.64% set in the month of Chait.
Excluding group, short-term, and foreign employment life insurance policies, insurance coverage has reached 16.77% of the population, while without foreign employment life insurance, the penetration stands at 39.31%. The number of active life insurance policies has reached 15.3 million.
The collection of life insurance premiums has increased by 15.55%, totaling NPR 140.35 billion as of the end of Baishakh. The expansion of microinsurance companies and initiatives by the Insurance Board at the local level have played a significant role in this growth.
