काठमाण्डौ महानगरपालिकाले १० महिनामा ३१.७३ प्रतिशत बजेट खर्च गर्योKathmandu Metropolitan City Spends 31.73% of Budget in 10 Months
काठमाण्डौ महानगरपालिकाले चालू आर्थिक वर्ष २०८०/८१ को १० महिनामा ३१.७३ प्रतिशत बजेट खर्च गरेको छ। महानगरले कुल २४ अर्ब ८ करोड ५७ लाख रुपैयाँ बजेट विनियोजन गरेकोमा साउनदेखि वैशाख मसान्तसम्म ७ अर्ब ६४ करोड २८ लाख रुपैयाँ मात्र खर्च गरेको हो। यस अनुसार महानगरसँग अझै १६ अर्ब ४४ करोड २८ लाख रुपैयाँ बजेट मौज्दात छ।
सबैभन्दा धेरै ऊर्जा क्षेत्रमा खर्च भएको छ, जहाँ ६१ प्रतिशत भन्दा बढी अर्थात् ३ करोड ६७ लाख रुपैयाँ खर्च भएको छ। वित्तीय सुशासनमा ५९ लाख विनियोजन गरिएकोमा ६१ प्रतिशत भन्दा धेरै अर्थात् ३६ लाख ३० हजार रुपैयाँ खर्च भएको छ। कार्यालय सञ्चालन तथा प्रशासनमा ३ अर्ब ४३ करोड विनियोजन गरिएकोमा ६० प्रतिशत भन्दा बढी अर्थात् २ अर्ब ७ करोड रुपैयाँ खर्च भएको छ।
शिक्षा क्षेत्रमा २ अर्ब ७४ करोड विनियोजन गरिएकोमा १ अर्ब ३४ करोड रुपैयाँ खर्च भएको छ भने पर्यटनमा ३३ करोड ५३ लाख विनियोजन गरिएकोमा १६ करोड ७३ लाख रुपैयाँ खर्च भएको छ।
स्वास्थ्य क्षेत्रमा भने निकै कम खर्च भएको छ। १ अर्ब १० करोड विनियोजनमा १५ करोड १९ लाख मात्र खर्च भएको छ। कृषिमा साढे दुई प्रतिशत, खानेपानी तथा सरसफाइमा ४० प्रतिशत, युवा तथा खेलकुदमा साढे नौ प्रतिशत, विज्ञान तथा प्रविधिमा ३८ प्रतिशत, पुनर्निर्माणमा २९ प्रतिशत, र वातावरण तथा जलवायु क्षेत्रमा २० प्रतिशत बजेट खर्च भएको छ।
जलस्रोत तथा सिँचाइ, भूमि व्यवस्था र श्रम तथा रोजगारी क्षेत्रमा १० महिनासम्ममा एक रुपैयाँ पनि खर्च भएको छैन।
Kathmandu Metropolitan City has spent 31.73% of its budget in the first 10 months of the current fiscal year 2080/81. Out of the total allocated budget of NPR 24.0857 billion, the city has spent NPR 7.6428 billion from Shrawan to Baisakh. This leaves NPR 16.4428 billion remaining in the budget.
The highest expenditure has been in the energy sector, with over 61% or NPR 367 million of the allocated NPR 596 million being spent. In financial governance, NPR 3.63 million has been spent out of the allocated NPR 5.9 million, which is over 61%. For office operations and administration, NPR 2.07 billion has been spent out of the allocated NPR 3.43 billion, which is over 60%.
In the education sector, NPR 1.34 billion out of the allocated NPR 2.74 billion has been spent, and in the tourism sector, NPR 167.3 million out of the allocated NPR 335.3 million has been spent.
However, expenditure in the health sector has been significantly low. Only NPR 151.9 million out of the allocated NPR 1.1 billion has been spent. In agriculture, 2.5% of the budget has been spent, in water supply and sanitation, nearly 40%, in youth and sports, 9.5%, in science and technology, 38.5%, in reconstruction, 29.5%, and in environment and climate, 20%.
The city has not spent any budget in three sectors: water resources and irrigation, land management, and labor and employment, in the first 10 months.
