काठमाडौंमा साझा यातायातसँग सहकार्यमा रात्रीकालीन विद्युतीय बस सेवा सञ्चालन हुनेKathmandu to Introduce Night-Time Electric Bus Service with Sajha Yatayat
काठमाडौं महानगरपालिका (केएमसी) ले साझा यातायातसँगको सहकार्यमा १ बैशाख २०८३ देखि रात्रीकालीन सार्वजनिक यातायात सेवा सञ्चालन गर्ने तयारी गरेको छ। उक्त सेवा दुई मार्गमा सञ्चालन हुनेछ: पहिलो, १६ किलोमिटरको उत्तर–दक्षिण मार्ग, ललितपुरको लगनखेलबाट बुढानिलकण्ठसम्म, जसले पाटन अस्पताल, नोर्विक अस्पताल, प्रसूति गृह, ट्रौमा सेन्टर, वीरेन्द्र अस्पताल, कान्ति अस्पताल, टिचिङ अस्पताल र गंगालाल हृदय केन्द्र जस्ता मुख्य स्थानहरू जोड्छ; दोस्रो, २० किलोमिटरको पूर्व–पश्चिम मार्ग, थानकोटबाट त्रिभुवन अन्तर्राष्ट्रिय विमानस्थलसम्म, जसले सतुङ्गल, कालंकी, कालिमाटी, त्रिपुरेश्वर, थपथली, माइतीघर मण्डल, बानेश्वर, मिनभवन र टिनकुनेलाई समेट्छ। यी मार्गमा चारवटा विद्युतीय बसहरू राति ८:०० बजे देखि ११:०० बजे सम्म २० मिनेटको अन्तरालमा सञ्चालन हुनेछ। यात्रुहरूको सुरक्षा सुनिश्चित गर्न बसहरूमा CCTV क्यामेरा जडान गरिनेछ भने महानगरपालिकाका प्रहरी पनि बसमा तैनाथ गरिने छन्। कार्यवाहक प्रमुख डांगोलले आधुनिक, एकीकृत, सुविधाजनक, सुरक्षित, भरपर्दो र दिगो यातायात सेवा निर्माण गर्नु लक्ष्य रहेको बताए र यस दृष्टिकोण पूरा गर्न साझेदारहरूसँग सहकार्यका लागि महानगर खुल्ला रहेको जानकारी दिए।
Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC), in collaboration with Sajha Yatayat, is set to launch a night-time public transport service starting Baisakh 1, 2083. The service will operate on two routes: a 16-kilometre north-south route from Lagankhel, Lalitpur to Budhanilkantha, passing key points such as Patan Hospital, Norvic Hospital, Prasuti Griha, Trauma Centre, Bir Hospital, Kanti Hospital, Teaching Hospital, and Gangalal Heart Centre; and a 20-kilometre east-west route from Thankot to Tribhuvan International Airport, passing through Satungal, Kalanki, Kalimati, Tripureshwor, Thapathali, Maitighar Mandala, Baneshwor, Minbhawan, and Tinkune. Four electric buses will operate on these routes from 8:00 PM to 11:00 PM, with buses arriving every 20 minutes. For passenger safety, the buses will be equipped with CCTV cameras, and municipal police will be deployed on board. Acting Chief Dangol emphasized that the goal is to create a modern, integrated, convenient, safe, reliable, and sustainable transport service, and that the Metropolitan City is open to further collaborations to realize this vision.
