Kumari Bank’s AGM Today: Disappointment for Shareholders

Kumari Bank Limited is holding its 24th Annual General Meeting (AGM) today (Falgun 2). The meeting will take place at the Tribhuvan Army Officers Club in Tundikhel from 11 AM onwards. The agenda of the meeting includes approving the bank’s annual report, financial statements, appointing an auditor, and determining remuneration. The bank has decided not to distribute any dividends to shareholders from the profit of the last fiscal year. This decision was approved in the Board of Directors meeting held on Poush 26.
The AGM will also approve the financial statements of the bank’s subsidiaries, Kumari Capital and KBL Securities Limited. Additionally, discussions will be held on digital banking, customer service expansion, and financial stability strategies. Shareholders who wished to participate in the meeting had to verify their share ownership by Magh 10, while the bank closed its book on Magh 11. The bank has signaled its plans to expand its business and take a leading role in Nepal’s banking sector in the coming years.
