काठमाडौं, जेठ १५ – सरकारले भूमिहीन नागरिकको समस्या स्थायी रूपमा समाधान गर्न भूमि सम्बन्धी कानुन संशोधन गर्ने घोषणा गरेको छ।
आगामी आर्थिक वर्ष २०८२/०८३ को बजेट प्रस्तुत गर्दै अर्थमन्त्री विष्णुप्रसाद पौडेलले आगामी वर्षभित्र लगत संकलन गरी ५ लाख भूमिहीन परिवारलाई जग्गाधनी पूर्जा वितरण गरिने जानकारी दिएका छन्।
सरकारले कृषियोग्य भूमि बाँझो राख्न नपाइने नीति लिने घोषणा पनि गरेको छ। भूमि बैंक प्रवर्द्धन गर्ने योजना सहित हरेक स्थानीय तहमा भूमि बैंक स्थापना गरिने छ।
अर्थमन्त्री पौडेलले भू-उपयोग क्षेत्र वर्गीकरण गरिने र त्यसअनुसार भूमि व्यवस्थापनका कार्य अघि बढाइने बताए। यसले भूमि व्यवस्थापनलाई व्यवस्थित, वैज्ञानिक र दिगो बनाउने सरकारको उद्देश्यलाई स्पष्ट गरेको छ।
Kathmandu, May 29 – The Government of Nepal has announced that it will amend existing land-related laws to provide a permanent solution to the issue of landlessness.
While presenting the budget for the fiscal year 2082/83, Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Paudel stated that the government will collect land ownership data and distribute land certificates to 500,000 landless families within the coming year.
The government also plans to enforce a new policy prohibiting arable land from being left fallow, and to promote the establishment of land banks across the country. As part of this initiative, a land bank will be set up in every local government unit.
Minister Paudel further announced that the government will initiate land-use zoning and classification, aiming to make land management more organized, scientific, and sustainable.
