Last Day to Secure Dividends of 7 Companies Including Nabil Bank and Butwal Power Company

Today (December 29, 2025) is the final day for investors to secure dividends from seven companies, including Nabil Bank, Butwal Power Company, IGI Prudential Insurance, Deprosc Laghubitta, Mithila Laghubitta, Support Laghubitta, and Chhimek Laghubitta. Butwal Power Company has announced book closure on Poush 15, while the remaining six companies will close their books on Poush 16 for dividend distribution and Annual General Meeting (AGM) purposes. Accordingly, only shareholders who hold shares by today through NEPSE trading will be eligible to receive dividends and participate in the AGMs. From the profits of the last fiscal year, Butwal Power Company has proposed a 6 percent cash dividend including tax, while Nabil Bank has proposed a 12.5 percent cash dividend. IGI Prudential Insurance has proposed a 5 percent cash dividend. Similarly, Chhimek Laghubitta has proposed a total dividend of 25 percent, comprising 12.5 percent bonus shares and 12.5 percent cash dividend including tax. Support Laghubitta has announced a 10 percent dividend, Mithila Laghubitta 15 percent, and Deprosc Laghubitta a total of 15 percent dividend consisting of 10 percent bonus shares and 5 percent cash dividend including tax. The proposed dividends will be distributed to shareholders after approval from the respective upcoming AGMs.
