समस्याग्रस्त सहकारी व्यवस्थापन समितिको कार्यालयले समस्याग्रस्त घोषणा गरिएका १९ सहकारी संस्थाबाट कर्जा असुली प्रक्रिया सुरु गरेको छ । समितिले सार्वजनिक सूचना प्रकाशन गर्दै सञ्चालक, व्यवस्थापक, ऋणी र कर्मचारीलाई यही असार मसान्तभित्र सम्पूर्ण दायित्व चुक्ता गर्न अन्तिम समय दिएको छ ।
समितिका अनुसार सहकारी ऐन, २०७४ को दफा १० अनुसार भूमि व्यवस्था, सहकारी तथा गरिबी निवारण मन्त्रालयमार्फत समस्याग्रस्त घोषित सहकारीको सम्पत्ति व्यवस्थापन तथा दायित्व भुक्तानीका लागि कानुनी प्रक्रिया थालिएको हो । पटक–पटक सूचना प्रकाशन गर्दा पनि दायित्व चुक्ता नगरेपछि समितिले अन्तिम चेतावनी दिएको छ ।
समितिले चेतावनी दिएको छ कि तोकिएको म्यादभित्र दायित्व नचुक्ता गरेमा साउन १ गतेदेखि कर्जा असुली प्रक्रिया सुरु हुनेछ, जसअन्तर्गत साँवा, ब्याज तथा हर्जाना समेत गणना गरेर कडाईका साथ असुली थालिनेछ ।
सरकारले हालसम्म १९ वटा बचत तथा ऋण सहकारी संस्थालाई समस्याग्रस्त घोषणा गरिसकेको छ । यी सहकारीमार्फत अर्बौं रुपैयाँको बचत रकम अपचलन भएको पुष्टि भएको छ । बचतकर्ताको रकम फिर्ता गराउन समितिले कानुनी र प्रशासनिक प्रक्रिया अघि बढाएको जनाएको छ ।

समितिले दायित्व पूरा नगर्नेहरूमाथि आवश्यक कानुनी कारबाहीका साथै सम्पत्ति रोक्का र धरौटी प्रक्रियासमेत अगाडि बढाउने चेतावनी दिएको छ ।
Kathmandu, Ashar 15 — The Office of the Problematic Cooperative Management Committee has initiated the loan recovery process from 19 cooperatives that have been officially declared “troubled.” The committee has issued a public notice giving board members, debtors, managers, and staff until the end of Ashar (mid-July) to settle their outstanding dues.
According to the committee, the Ministry of Land Management, Cooperatives and Poverty Alleviation, under Section 10 of the Cooperative Act 2074, has authorized the initiation of asset management and liability clearance of the troubled cooperatives. Despite repeated public notices, the concerned individuals have not cleared their dues, prompting the committee to issue a final warning.
The committee has stated that if dues are not settled within the specified deadline, a full recovery process will begin from Shrawan 1 (mid-July), including recovery of principal, interest, and penalties accrued up to that date.
So far, the government has declared 19 savings and credit cooperatives as troubled. These cooperatives are accused of misappropriating billions of rupees in public deposits. To return the savings to depositors, the committee is moving forward with legal and administrative recovery procedures.

The committee has also warned of potential legal action, including asset seizure and deposit freezes, for those who fail to comply within the given timeframe.
