Lock-in Period for Buddha Bhumi Nepal Hydropower Shares Ending in October

The lock-in period for the ordinary shares of Buddha Bhumi Nepal Hydropower is set to expire in the coming month of Ashwin (October).

Lock-in Period of Shares:

  • The lock-in period for a total of 3.216 million shares, including 2.8 million shares held by promoters, 400,000 shares by local residents, and 16,000 shares by employees, will end on Ashwin 26 (October 12).

Eligibility for Secondary Market Trading:

  • After the lock-in period ends, these shares will be eligible for trading in the secondary market.

Details of Share Allotment:

  • On Ashwin 22, 2078 (October 8, 2021), the company issued an IPO and allotted shares to promoters, project-affected residents, and employees.

Nepal Securities Board Directive:

  • According to the directive of the Nepal Securities Board, shares held by promoter shareholders and employees must be kept under a lock-in period for three years from the date of issuance to the general public.
