मेरो किसान लिमिटेडले आईपीओ ल्याउने तयारी, प्रभु क्यापिटल बिक्री प्रबन्धक नियुक्तMero Kisan Limited to Launch IPO, Appoints Prabhu Capital as Issue Manager
काठमाडौं — कृषि क्षेत्रमा आधारित कम्पनी मेरो किसान लिमिटेडले सर्वसाधारणका लागि आईपीओ निष्काशन गर्ने प्रक्रिया अघि बढाएको छ। कम्पनीले आईपीओ जारी गर्न प्रभु क्यापिटल लिमिटेडलाई बिक्री प्रबन्धकमा नियुक्त गरेको हो।यस सम्बन्धमा चैत २ गते काठमाडौंको कमलादीस्थित प्रभु क्यापिटलको कार्यालयमा दुवै पक्षबीच औपचारिक सम्झौता सम्पन्न भएको छ। सम्झौताअनुसार प्रभु क्यापिटलले कम्पनीको आईपीओ निष्काशन तथा व्यवस्थापनको जिम्मेवारी लिनेछ।मेरो किसान लिमिटेड कृषि उत्पादनसँग सम्बन्धित सम्पूर्ण आपूर्ति श्रृंखला व्यवस्थापन गर्ने उद्देश्यले स्थापना भएको कम्पनी हो। यसले किसानसँग प्रत्यक्ष सहकार्य गर्दै बीउ–बिजन उत्पादन, कृषि उपज संकलन, भण्डारण, वितरण तथा डिजिटल प्लेटफर्ममार्फत उपभोक्तासम्म कृषि उत्पादन पुर्याउने कार्य गर्दै आएको छ। कम्पनीमा विभिन्न क्षेत्रमा अनुभव र विशेषज्ञता भएका व्यक्तिहरूको संलग्नता रहेको बताइएको छ।कम्पनीले चितवन जिल्लाको पटिहानीमा कृषि प्रशोधन केन्द्र र दूध डेरी सञ्चालन गर्ने योजना अघि बढाएको छ। यसका लागि करिब ३.५ बिगा जग्गा खरिद गरी संरचना निर्माण कार्य अन्तिम चरणमा पुगेको छ। कम्पनीले चालू आर्थिक वर्षभित्र कृषि प्रशोधन केन्द्र सञ्चालनमा ल्याउने र आगामी आर्थिक वर्षको पहिलो त्रैमाससम्म दूध डेरी सञ्चालन गर्ने लक्ष्य लिएको छ।कम्पनीका अनुसार पूँजी बजारमार्फत सर्वसाधारणसँग जोडिँदै कृषि क्षेत्रमा थप लगानी भित्र्याउने र व्यवसाय विस्तार गर्ने लक्ष्यका साथ आईपीओ निष्काशन गर्न लागिएको हो। यसले कृषि प्रधान देश नेपालमा आधुनिक प्रविधिमार्फत कृषि प्रणाली सुदृढ बनाउन सहयोग पुग्ने विश्वास व्यक्त गरिएको छ।सम्झौता कार्यक्रममा मेरो किसान लिमिटेडका अध्यक्ष विष्णुमणि गौतम, प्रबन्ध सञ्चालक अविनाश सिलवाल, सञ्चालक सुनिल थापा र सन्तोष बस्तेत सहभागी थिए। प्रभु क्यापिटलको तर्फबाट प्रबन्ध सञ्चालक आशिष गौचन, प्रमुख व्यापार अधिकृत बासु थपलिया तथा विशिष्टिकृत लगानी कोष प्रमुख सुदीप हरी ढुंगाना उपस्थित रहेका थिए।
Kathmandu — Mero Kisan Limited has initiated the process to issue an Initial Public Offering (IPO), appointing Prabhu Capital Limited as its issue and sales manager. The agreement between the two parties was formally signed on Chaitra 2 at Prabhu Capital’s office in Kamaladi, Kathmandu.Under the agreement, Prabhu Capital will manage the entire IPO issuance process, marking a key step for the company to enter Nepal’s capital market and connect with public investors.Mero Kisan Limited is an agriculture-focused company established with the objective of strengthening the agricultural value chain through technology. The company works directly with farmers in seed production, collection of agricultural produce, storage, distribution, and delivery to consumers via digital platforms. It has involvement from professionals with expertise across multiple sectors, aiming to modernize Nepal’s agriculture system.The company is also expanding its infrastructure with plans to operate an agro-processing center and a dairy facility in Patihani, Chitwan. For this purpose, it has already acquired around 3.5 bigha of land, and construction of the required structures is in its final phase. Mero Kisan aims to bring the agro-processing center into operation within the current fiscal year and launch the dairy facility by the first quarter of the next fiscal year.Company officials believe that entering the capital market through an IPO will help mobilize additional investment and support the expansion of agricultural activities in Nepal. They have expressed confidence that this move will contribute to strengthening Nepal’s agriculture sector, often described as the backbone of the national economy.The signing ceremony was attended by Chairman Bishnumani Gautam, Managing Director Avinash Silwal, Directors Sunil Thapa and Santosh Bastet from Mero Kisan Limited. Representing Prabhu Capital were Managing Director Ashish Gauchan, Chief Business Officer Basu Thapaliya, and Head of Specialized Investment Fund Sudip Hari Dhungana.
