मोदी इनर्जीलाई हकप्रद शेयर निष्कासनको पूर्व स्वीकृति, करिब २.६१ अर्ब रुपैयाँ पूँजी जुटाउने तयारीModi Energy Receives Preliminary Approval for Rights Issue, Plans to Raise NPR 2.61 Billion
तल्लो मोदी खोला जलविद्युत आयोजना (२० मेगावाट) का प्रवर्द्धक मोदी इनर्जीले हकप्रद शेयर निष्कासनका लागि विद्युत् विकास विभागबाट पूर्व स्वीकृति प्राप्त गरेको छ। कम्पनीले हाल कायम चुक्ता पूँजीको १:०.९००२९ को अनुपातमा हकप्रद शेयर जारी गर्ने तयारी गरेको हो।
कम्पनीले बिहीबार नेपाल स्टक एक्सचेञ्जलाई पत्रमार्फत नियामक निकायबाट स्वीकृति प्राप्त भएको जानकारी गराएको छ। विद्युत् विकास विभागले मिति २०८२ माघ २१ गते हकप्रद शेयर निष्कासनका लागि पूर्व स्वीकृति प्रदान गरेको पत्रमार्फत जनाएको हो।
हाल कम्पनीको चुक्ता पूँजी २ अर्ब ९० करोड रुपैयाँ रहेको छ। स्वीकृत अनुपात अनुसार कम्पनीले करिब २ अर्ब ६१ करोड ८ लाख रुपैयाँ बराबरको हकप्रद शेयर निष्कासन गर्ने तयारी गरेको छ।
अब अन्तिम स्वीकृतिका लागि कम्पनीले नेपाल धितोपत्र बोर्डमा आवेदन दिनुपर्नेछ। बोर्डबाट अनुमति पाएपछि मात्रै कम्पनीले शेयर निष्कासनको मिति र बुक क्लोज तोक्नेछ।
पर्वत जिल्लामा तल्लो मोदी खोला जलविद्युत आयोजना सञ्चालन गरिरहेको कम्पनीले ऋण भार घटाउने तथा वित्तीय व्यवस्थापन सुदृढ बनाउने उद्देश्यले हकप्रद शेयरमार्फत ठूलो परिमाणमा पूँजी जुटाउन लागेको जनाएको छ। यस कदमले कम्पनीको दीर्घकालीन वित्तीय स्थायित्वमा सहयोग पुग्ने अपेक्षा गरिएको छ।
Modi Energy Limited, the promoter of the 20 MW Lower Modi Khola Hydropower Project, has received preliminary approval from the Department of Electricity Development to issue right shares. The company plans to issue right shares in the ratio of 1:0.90029 based on its existing paid-up capital.
On Thursday, the company informed the Nepal Stock Exchange through an official letter that it had obtained approval from the regulatory authority. According to the approval letter dated Magh 21, 2082 (BS), the department granted preliminary consent for the rights issue.
Currently, the company’s paid-up capital stands at NPR 2.90 billion. Based on the approved ratio, Modi Energy is preparing to issue right shares worth approximately NPR 2.61 billion.
For final approval, the company must now apply to the Nepal Securities Board. Only after receiving approval from the board will the company be able to fix the issuance date and announce the book closure.
Operating the Lower Modi Khola Hydropower Project in Parbat district, the company aims to raise substantial capital through the rights issue to reduce its debt burden and strengthen its financial management. This initiative is expected to enhance the company’s long-term financial stability.
