Monthly Profit Details of 20 Commercial Banks in Nepal

According to the Nepal Rastra Bank, 20 commercial banks currently in operation earned a total profit of NPR 9.1763 billion in the month of Shrawan (mid-July to mid-August). This represents a 7.64% increase compared to the same period last year, where the banks had earned NPR 8.525 billion.

Banks with the Highest Profits:

  1. Global IME Bank: NPR 892.4 million (a decrease of 10.07% compared to NPR 992.3 million in the same period last year)

  2. Nabil Bank: NPR 803.3 million

  3. Agricultural Development Bank: NPR 712 million

Other High-Profit Banks:

  • Himalayan Bank: NPR 588 million

  • Nepal Investment Mega Bank: NPR 577.5 million

  • Prabhu Bank: NPR 538 million

  • Prime Commercial Bank: NPR 505.5 million

  • Kumari Bank: NPR 503.5 million

  • Laxmi Sunrise Bank: NPR 433.2 million

  • NMB Bank: NPR 427.2 million
