माउन्टेन इनर्जी नेपाल लिमिटेडले आफ्ना सेयरधनीहरूलाई आकर्षक लाभांश वितरण गर्ने प्रस्ताव गरेको छ। गत असोज २६ गते बसेको कम्पनी सञ्चालक समितिको १४६औं बैठकले आर्थिक वर्ष २०८२/८३ को नाफाबाट कुल २१.०५२६३ प्रतिशत लाभांश दिने निर्णय गरेको हो।
कम्पनीले प्रस्ताव गरेको कुल लाभांशमध्ये २० प्रतिशत बोनस सेयर रहेको छ भने बाँकी १.०५२६३ प्रतिशत नगद लाभांश कर प्रयोजनका लागि मात्र छुट्याइएको छ। सञ्चालक समितिले अघि सारेको यो प्रस्तावलाई विद्युत् नियमन आयोगले स्वीकृति दिएपछि र कम्पनीको आगामी १३औं वार्षिक साधारण सभाले अन्तिम अनुमोदन गरेपश्चात् मात्र सेयरधनीहरूलाई वितरण गरिनेछ।
साधारण सभा र लाभांश वितरण प्रयोजनका लागि कम्पनीले आगामी कात्तिक १० गते 'बुक क्लोज' (सेयर दाखिला खारेजी) गर्ने मिति तय गरेको छ। यसको अर्थ, नेप्सेमा अघिल्लो दिनसम्म कारोबार भई सेयरधनी दर्ता पुस्तिकामा कायम रहेका लगानीकर्ताले मात्र प्रस्तावित लाभांश पाउन र सभामा मतदान गर्न सक्नेछन्। पछिल्लो कारोबार दिन यस कम्पनीको सेयर प्रतिकित्ता ६४७ रुपैयाँमा बन्द भएको थियो।
Mountain Energy Nepal Limited (MEN) has brought good news to its investors by declaring a handsome dividend payout. The 146th meeting of the company's board of directors, held on Ashwin 26, decided to propose a total dividend of 21.05263 percent from the profits accumulated during the fiscal year 2082/83.
Out of the total proposed dividend, the core distribution consists of 20 percent bonus shares, while the remaining 1.05263 percent has been allocated as a cash dividend strictly for tax clearance purposes. The company has clarified that this proposed distribution will be finalized only after securing approval from the Electricity Regulatory Commission and receiving an official endorsement from MEN's upcoming 13th Annual General Meeting (AGM).
To facilitate the AGM and the dividend distribution process, the company has set Kartik 10 as the book closure date. Consequently, only those shareholders who maintain their shareholding until the preceding trading day will be eligible to receive the proposed dividend and participate in the general assembly. For market context, the company's stock closed at Rs. 647 per share on the last trading day.
