नेपाल र भारतबीच १० नयाँ विकास परियोजनाका लागि सम्झौताNepal and India Sign Agreement for 10 New Development Projects
नेपाल र भारत सरकारबीच शिक्षा, स्वास्थ्य र सांस्कृतिक क्षेत्रमा सहयोग विस्तार गर्न १० वटा नयाँ सामुदायिक परियोजनाका लागि सम्झौता भएको छ। यी परियोजनाहरू भारतको आर्थिक सहयोगमा सञ्चालन हुनेछन्, जसको कुल लागत करिब ६२ करोड रुपैयाँभन्दा बढी हुने अनुमान छ।
काठमाडौंमा रहेको भारतीय दूतावास, नेपालको सङ्घीय मामिला तथा सामान्य प्रशासन मन्त्रालय र सम्बन्धित कार्यान्वयन निकायहरूले संयुक्त रूपमा यो सम्झौतामा हस्ताक्षर गरेका हुन्। यी परियोजनाहरू स्थानीय तहका निकायहरू जस्तै गाउँपालिका, नगरपालिका र महानगरपालिकाहरूमार्फत अगाडि बढाइनेछ।
यी योजनाहरूले नेपाली समुदायमा शैक्षिक सुधार, स्वास्थ्य सेवाको पहुँच र सांस्कृतिक सम्पदाको संरक्षणमा ठूलो टेवा पुर्याउने अपेक्षा गरिएको छ। भारतीय दूतावासका अनुसार, यस्ता परियोजनाहरूले स्थानीय जनजीवनलाई प्रत्यक्ष लाभ पुर्याउनेछ।
यसअघि सन् २००३ देखि नै भारतले नेपालमा यस्ता साना तर प्रभावकारी परियोजनाहरूमा सहयोग गर्दै आएको छ। हालसम्म ५७० भन्दा बढी योजनाहरूमा काम भएको छ, जसमध्ये अधिकांश सम्पन्न भइसकेका छन्। यी परियोजनाहरूले सडक, पुल, खानेपानी, सिँचाइ, विद्युत् र सामाजिक कल्याणजस्ता क्षेत्रमा नेपालको विकासमा योगदान दिइरहेका छन्। नयाँ सम्झौताले यो सहकार्यलाई अझ गहिरो बनाउने विश्वास लिइएको छ।
Nepal and India have entered into an agreement to launch 10 new community development projects aimed at enhancing education, healthcare, and cultural preservation. These initiatives, funded through Indian financial assistance, are estimated to cost over 620 million Nepali rupees.
The agreement was signed between the Indian Embassy in Kathmandu, Nepal’s Ministry of Federal Affairs and General Administration, and relevant implementing agencies. The projects will be executed through local bodies such as rural municipalities, municipalities, and metropolitan cities across Nepal.
These initiatives are expected to significantly improve access to quality education, healthcare services, and cultural preservation efforts for Nepali communities. According to the Indian Embassy, such projects are designed to directly benefit local populations.
Since 2003, India has supported over 570 similar small-scale yet impactful projects in Nepal, with the majority already completed. These efforts have contributed to development in areas such as roads, bridges, drinking water, irrigation, electrification, and social welfare. The latest agreement is seen as a step to further deepen this collaborative partnership.
