नेपाल राष्ट्र बैंकले बजारमा जाली नोटको बढ्दो जोखिमको मध्यनजर सर्वसाधारणलाई उच्च सतर्कता अपनाउन आग्रह गरेको छ। बैंकले विशेषगरी रु. १,००० र रु. ५०० दरका नोटहरूमा सुरक्षा विशेषताहरूको जाँच अनिवार्य बनाउन सिफारिस गरेको छ।
राष्ट्र बैंकका अनुसार जाली नोट छाप्ने, ओसारपसार गर्ने, र कारोबार गर्ने कार्य कानूनी अपराध हो। यस्तो प्रकारका गतिविधिहरूले देशको आर्थिक प्रणालीमा ठूलो नकरात्मक असर पार्ने सम्भावना रहेकोले नागरिकलाई यस्ता गतिविधिहरूबाट सचेत रहन र जाँच गर्न अनुरोध गरिएको छ।
असली नोट कसरी चिन्ने?
राष्ट्र बैंकले असली नोटलाई चिन्नका लागि केही सुरक्षा विशेषताहरू स्पष्ट गरेको छ:
उज्यालोमा हेर्दा पानीछाप (वाटरमार्क) प्रस्ट देखिन्छ।
सुरक्षा धागो (Security Thread) मा रंग परिवर्तन गर्ने गुण हुन्छ।
इन्टालियो प्रिन्टको कारण नोटको केही भागलाई छोड्दा त्यसको टेक्स्चर महशुस गर्न सकिन्छ।
UV लाइटमा हेर्दा नोटका नम्बर र चिन्हहरू चम्कन्छन्।
नोटको डिजाइन, रंग र अक्षरहरू मिलेर स्पष्ट रूपमा छापिएका छन्।
राष्ट्र बैंकले शंका लाग्ने नोटको अवस्थामा नागरिकलाई तुरुन्त नजिकको बैंक शाखा वा प्रहरी कार्यालयमा बुझाउन आग्रह गरेको छ। बैंकले "सजग नागरिक बनौं, सुरक्षित कारोबार गरौं" भन्ने सन्देशसहित वित्तीय चेतना अभियानलाई तीव्रता दिएको छ। यस प्रकारको सचेतना र सावधानी अपनाउँदा जाली नोटबाट हुने आर्थिक नोक्सानीलाई रोक्न सकिने बैंकको विश्वास छ।
Nepal Rastra Bank has urged the general public to exercise heightened caution due to the increasing risk of counterfeit currency in the market. The bank has specifically recommended that people thoroughly check the security features of Rs. 1,000 and Rs. 500 denomination notes during use.
According to Nepal Rastra Bank, printing, transporting, or circulating counterfeit currency is a criminal offense under the law. Such activities could have a detrimental impact on the country's financial system, and therefore, citizens are advised to be vigilant and cautious when dealing with money.
How to Identify Genuine Currency Notes?
Nepal Rastra Bank has outlined several security features to help identify genuine notes:
Watermark: When viewed in light, the watermark on the note becomes clearly visible.
Security Thread: The security thread inside the note changes color.
Raised Print: Some areas of the note have a raised texture (intaglio print), which can be felt by touch.
UV Light: When exposed to UV light, certain numbers and symbols on the note will glow.
Clear Design: The design, color, and text of the note should be clear and consistent.
The bank has requested that any suspicious notes be reported to the nearest bank branch or police station. With the message "Be alert citizens, make secure transactions," Nepal Rastra Bank has intensified its financial awareness campaign. The bank believes that following these precautions will help prevent financial losses caused by counterfeit notes.
