Nepal Rastra Bank Sets New Exchange Rates, US Dollar Hits New Record

Nepal Rastra Bank has announced the exchange rates for foreign currencies today. According to the new exchange rates, the value of the US dollar has increased and set a new record. The buying rate for the US dollar is set at NPR 138.28 and the selling rate at NPR 138.88. Similarly, the value of the Euro, UK Pound Sterling, Swiss Franc, Singapore Dollar, Japanese Yen, Chinese Yuan, Saudi Arabian Riyal, Qatari Riyal, Thai Baht, UAE Dirham, Malaysian Ringgit, South Korean Won, Swedish Krona, Danish Krona, Hong Kong Dollar, Kuwaiti Dinar, Bahraini Dinar, and Omani Rial has also risen.

However, the value of the Australian Dollar has decreased, while the values of other foreign currencies remain stable. The Buying rate of one hundred Indian rupees is set at NPR 160 and the selling rate at NPR 160.15. Nepal Rastra Bank has mentioned that these exchange rates may be revised at any time as needed. The exchange rates set by commercial banks may differ, and the updated exchange rates will be available on the central bank’s website.
