तिहार लक्षित गर्दै राष्ट्र बैंकले यस वर्ष सुनको असर्फी वितरण नगर्ने, चाँदीको मेडालियन मात्र बिक्री हुनेNepal Rastra Bank to Halt Sale of Gold Coins This Tihar, Only Silver Medallions Available
काठमाडौं, असोज २८ — आगामी तिहार (धनतेरस) पर्वलाई लक्षित गर्दै नेपाल राष्ट्र बैंकले यस वर्ष सुनको असर्फी बिक्री नगर्ने निर्णय गरेको छ। राष्ट्र बैंकको टक्सार महाशाखाले जारी गरेको सूचनामा असोज २६ गतेदेखि चाँदीका मेडालियन (सिक्का) मात्र बिक्री वितरण गरिने उल्लेख छ।
टक्सार महाशाखाका अनुसार यस वर्ष लक्ष्मी मेडालियन (१० ग्राम) को मूल्य रु. ३,००० तोकिएको छ। प्रत्येक व्यक्तिलाई १ वटा मात्र मेडालियन खरिद गर्न पाउने व्यवस्था गरिएको छ।
त्यस्तै, गणेश मेडालियन (१० ग्राम), गजलक्ष्मी मेडालियन (१० ग्राम) र गाई मेडालियन (१० ग्राम) पनि रु. ३,००० का दरले बिक्री गरिने सूचनामा उल्लेख छ। यी सबै मेडालियनहरू चाँदीका हुनेछन् र सीमित मात्रामा उपलब्ध हुने जनाइएको छ।
खरिदका लागि आउने ग्राहकले नागरिकताको फोटोकपी वा नागरिकता नम्बर उल्लेख भएको मान्य परिचयपत्र अनिवार्य साथमा ल्याउनुपर्नेछ।
राष्ट्र बैंकले हरेक वर्ष तिहार र धनतेरसलाई लक्षित गरी सुन र चाँदीका असर्फी तथा सिक्का बिक्री गर्ने परम्परा हुँदै आएको भए पनि यसपटक सुनको असर्फी वितरण स्थगित गरिएको हो।
Kathmandu, October 14 — Targeting the upcoming Tihar (Dhanteras) festival, the Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has announced that it will not sell gold coins (Asarfi) this year. Instead, the central bank’s Mint Division (Taksar Mahashakha) will sell silver medallions only, starting from October 12 (Ashwin 26, 2082).
According to the NRB Mint Division, the price of the 10-gram Laxmi Medallion has been fixed at Rs. 3,000, and each individual will be allowed to purchase only one piece.
Similarly, Ganesh Medallion (10 grams), Gajalaxmi Medallion (10 grams), and Cow Medallion (10 grams) will also be sold at Rs. 3,000 each, limited to one unit per person. All these medallions will be made of pure silver and will be available in limited quantities.
Buyers are required to bring a photocopy of their citizenship certificate or a valid identification document containing their citizenship number while purchasing.
In previous years, the Nepal Rastra Bank used to issue both gold and silver coins (Asarfi and Medallions) during the Tihar festival; however, this year the sale of gold coins has been suspended due to internal policy decisions.
