नेपाल धितोपत्र बोर्डका कर्मचारीले अर्थ मन्त्रालयको निर्देशनविरुद्ध सुरु गरेको आन्दोलन आज २३ औं दिनमा पुगेको छ। मन्त्रालयले दिएको निर्देशन कार्यान्वयन नगर्न माग गर्दै कर्मचारीहरूले विरोधलाई निरन्तरता दिएका हुन्।
कर्मचारीहरूले प्रत्येक बिहान कार्यालय समयको पहिलो एक घण्टा धर्ना बस्ने र दिनभर पेन डाउन गर्दै आएका छन्। यसले गर्दा बोर्डका सबै प्रशासनिक काम ठप्प भएका छन् र सेयर निष्कासन अनुमति प्रक्रिया समेत अवरुद्ध भएको छ।
अर्थ मन्त्रालयले ‘कर्मचारी कल्याण कोष कार्यविधि, २०७१’ र ‘कर्मचारी सुरक्षा कोष कार्यविधि, २०७५’ तत्काल खारेज गर्न निर्देशन दिएको थियो। साथै, ती कार्यविधिको आधारमा भुक्तानी भएको रकम सरकारी बाँकी सरह असुल गर्नुपर्ने आदेश दिएको थियो।
कर्मचारीहरूले उक्त निर्देशनलाई कानुनविपरीत र अधिकार हनन गर्ने भन्दै आपत्ति जनाएका छन्। उनीहरूले मन्त्रालयले निर्देशन फिर्ता नलिएसम्म आन्दोलन जारी राख्ने चेतावनी दिएका छन्।
The protest by employees of the Nepal Securities Board (SEBON) has entered its 23rd consecutive day. The employees have been demonstrating against the directive issued by the Ministry of Finance, demanding that it be withdrawn immediately.
The protesting staff have been staging a sit-in for one hour every morning and observing a pen-down strike throughout the day, halting all official operations. Due to the ongoing protest, all administrative tasks and the approval process for new share issuances have been completely obstructed.
The Ministry of Finance had instructed SEBON to repeal the “Employee Welfare Fund Procedure, 2071” and the “Employee Security Fund (Operation and Management) Procedure, 2075”. It also ordered the board to recover payments made from these funds in the past as government dues.
The employees have condemned the directive as illegal and a violation of their rights, claiming it was issued without proper consultation or legal basis. They have warned that the protest will continue until the Ministry withdraws the directive.
