चालु आर्थिक वर्ष २०८१/८२ को पहिलो दुई महिनाको वैदेशिक व्यापार (आयात/निर्यात) को तथ्यांक सार्वजनिक भएको छ। भन्सार विभागले सोमबार सार्वजनिक गरेको तथ्यांक अनुसार, साउन र भदौ महिनामा मुलुकलाई २ खर्ब ३७ अर्ब ४४ करोड रुपैयाँ बराबरको व्यापार घाटा लागेको छ।

वैदेशिक व्यापार घाटा: २ खर्ब ३७ अर्ब ४४ करोड रुपैयाँ
आयातको कुल मूल्य: २ खर्ब ६२ अर्ब ५४ करोड २६ लाख रुपैयाँ
निर्यातको कुल मूल्य: २५ अर्ब ९ करोड ३१ लाख रुपैयाँ
आयात र निर्यातको तुलना:
अघिल्लो वर्षको यसै अवधिमा २ खर्ब ५९ अर्ब ७४ करोड रुपैयाँ बराबरको वस्तु आयात भएको थियो, जबकि २६ अर्ब ४४ करोड ७० लाख रुपैयाँ बराबरको वस्तु निर्यात भएको थियो।
चालु वर्षको साउन र भदौ महिनामा आयातको मात्रा केही बढेको छ, जबकि निर्यात घट्न पुगेको छ।
आयात-निर्यात अनुपात:
चालु वर्षको समीक्षा अवधिमा नेपालको आयात-निर्यात अनुपात १०.४६ प्रतिशत मात्र रहेको छ। अर्थात्, मुलुकले ८९.५४ रुपैयाँ बराबरको वस्तु आयात गर्दा, जम्मा १०.४६ रुपैयाँ बराबरको वस्तु निर्यात गर्न सकेको छ।
चालु आर्थिक वर्षको पहिलो दुई महिनामा नेपालले ठूलो मात्रामा व्यापार घाटा बेहोरिरहेको छ। आयातमा सामान्य वृद्धि भए पनि निर्यात घटेकोले व्यापार घाटामा वृद्धि देखिएको हो। यो अवस्था नेपालको वैदेशिक व्यापारको असन्तुलनलाई उजागर गर्दै, आर्थिक नीतिहरू पुनर्विचार गर्न आवश्यकतामा जोड दिन्छ।
The data for Nepal's foreign trade (import/export) in the first two months of the fiscal year 2081/82 has been released. According to the figures published by the Customs Department on Monday, the country incurred a trade deficit of NPR 237.44 billion during the months of Shrawan and Bhadra.
Foreign Trade Deficit: NPR 237.44 billion
Total Import Value: NPR 262.54 billion
Total Export Value: NPR 25.09 billion
Comparison of Imports and Exports:
In the same period last year, Nepal imported goods worth NPR 259.74 billion, while exporting goods worth NPR 26.44 billion. In the current fiscal year, import volumes have slightly increased, whereas exports have declined.
Import-Export Ratio:
During the review period of the current year, Nepal's import-export ratio stood at only 10.46%. This means that for every NPR 89.54 worth of goods imported, the country could export goods worth only NPR 10.46.
Nepal has witnessed a significant trade deficit in the first two months of the current fiscal year. Despite a slight increase in imports, the decline in exports has led to a growing trade deficit. This situation highlights the imbalance in Nepal's foreign trade and underscores the need to reconsider economic policies.
