NEPSE Proposes 85% Cash Dividend; 43rd Annual General Meeting on January 13

Nepal Stock Exchange Limited (NEPSE) has proposed distributing an 85 percent cash dividend to its shareholders through its 43rd Annual General Meeting (AGM). According to the notice published by NEPSE, the AGM will be held on Monday, January 13, in Kathmandu.
As per the decision of the Board of Directors, the AGM will commence at 11:00 AM at the company’s office located at U.N.I. Shanti Marg, Kathmandu. The meeting agenda includes discussion and approval of the annual report, auditor’s report, profit and loss statement, and cash flow statement of the previous fiscal year.
The Board has proposed the distribution of a cash dividend equivalent to 85 percent of NEPSE’s paid-up capital, which will be presented for approval at the AGM. In addition, the meeting will consider the appointment of an external auditor for the fiscal year 2080/81 (2023/24), determination of the auditor’s remuneration, and deliberation on other necessary proposals.
As the key institution responsible for the operation and management of Nepal’s stock market, NEPSE’s substantial dividend proposal is expected to further boost confidence and enthusiasm among its shareholders.
