NEPSE Rises Along with Trading Volume

On the second trading day of the week, Tuesday, the NEPSE index closed higher by 4.90 points at 2,639.91, accompanied by an increase in total turnover. The market recorded transactions worth over NPR 6.99 billion through 77,017 trades of 349 listed stocks, with more than 13.6 million shares changing hands. Threestar Hydropower hit the positive circuit level, while the share prices of Dordi Khola Hydropower and Super Madi Hydropower posted strong gains; however, Rasuwagadhi Hydropower declined by more than six percent. In terms of turnover, Radhi Bidyut Company led the market, and among the 13 sub-indices, seven closed higher, with the hydropower sub-index rising the most by 1.02 percent.
