१४ कारोबार दिनपछि २६०० विन्दुमुनि झर्यो नेप्से, परिसूचक १२.५० अंकले घट्योNEPSE Slips Below 2,600 After 14 Trading Days, Index Falls by 12.50 Points
साताको पहिलो कारोबार दिन आइतबार नेपाल स्टक एक्सचेञ्ज (नेप्से) परिसूचक घटेर बन्द भएको छ। पछिल्ला केही कारोबार दिनदेखि देखिएको गिरावटको क्रम यस दिन पनि निरन्तर रहँदा नेप्से १४ कारोबार दिनपछि पुनः २६०० विन्दुभन्दा तल झरेको हो।
आइतबार नेप्से परिसूचक १२.५० अंकले घट्दै २५९४.८७ विन्दुमा झरेको छ। यससँगै सेन्सेटिभ इण्डेक्स ०.७९ अंकले, फ्लोट इण्डेक्स ०.७७ अंकले तथा सेन्सेटिभ फ्लोट इण्डेक्स ०.३० अंकले घटेको छ। यसअघि गत मंसिर ४ गते नेप्से २६०० विन्दुमुनि बन्द भएको थियो।
परिसूचक घटेपनि यस दिन कारोबार रकम भने उल्लेख्य रूपमा बढेको छ। अघिल्लो कारोबार दिन बिहीबार ३ अर्ब ४९ करोड रुपैयाँको कारोबार भएको बजारमा आइतबार ३३० स्टकको ६० हजार ६९९ पटकको कारोबारमार्फत ४ अर्ब ७४ लाख ५५ हजार रुपैयाँ बराबरको १ करोड १२ लाख ७२ हजार कित्ता शेयर खरिदबिक्री भएको छ।
यस दिन दुई कम्पनीका शेयर सकारात्मक सर्किट लेभलमा कारोबार भएका छन्। स्वस्तिक लघुवित्त वित्तीय संस्था र एसवाई प्यानलको शेयर मूल्य उच्चतम बिन्दुमा पुगेको हो। त्यस्तै, एनएमबी माइक्रोफाइनान्स वित्तीय संस्थाको शेयर मूल्य ५ प्रतिशतभन्दा बढीले बढेको छ भने अन्य अधिकांश कम्पनीहरूको मूल्य वृद्धिदर ५ प्रतिशतभन्दा कम रहेको छ। कारोबारमा आएको सिटी होटलको शेयर मूल्य भने सर्वाधिक ६.२६ प्रतिशतले घटेको छ।
कारोबार रकमका आधारमा कुमारी बैंकको संस्थापक शेयर शीर्ष स्थानमा रहेको छ। सो बैंकको आइतबार २६ करोड १८ लाख रुपैयाँ बराबरको संस्थापक शेयर कारोबार भएको छ। त्यसपछि ङादी ग्रुप पावरको करिब १९ करोड रुपैयाँ र शिवम सिमेन्ट्सको करिब ८ करोड रुपैयाँ बराबरको शेयर खरिदबिक्री भएको छ।
१३ उपसमूहमध्ये यस दिन २ उपसमूहको परिसूचक बढेको छ भने ११ उपसमूहको परिसूचक घटेको छ। बैंकिङ्ग र म्युचुअल फण्ड उपसमूह सामान्य रूपमा बढेका छन् भने जलविद्युत, होटल तथा पर्यटन र जीवन बीमा उपसमूहको परिसूचक करिब १ प्रतिशतले घटेको छ।
Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index closed lower on Sunday, the first trading day of the week, extending its downward trend for the third consecutive session. With this decline, the benchmark index slipped below the psychological level of 2,600 points after a gap of 14 trading days.
On Sunday, the NEPSE index dropped by 12.50 points to settle at 2,594.87. Similarly, the Sensitive Index declined by 0.79 points, while the Float Index and Sensitive Float Index fell by 0.77 points and 0.30 points respectively. The index had previously closed below 2,600 on Mangsir 4.
Despite the fall in the index, total market turnover increased significantly. While the previous trading day recorded a turnover of NPR 3.49 billion, Sunday witnessed transactions worth NPR 4.74 billion. A total of 11.27 million shares of 330 companies were traded through 60,699 transactions.
Two stocks hit the positive circuit limit during the session. Shares of Swastik Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha and SY Panel traded at their upper circuit levels. Meanwhile, the share price of NMB Microfinance Financial Institution rose by more than 5 percent, while gains in other stocks remained below 5 percent. City Hotel emerged as the biggest loser of the day, with its share price dropping by 6.26 percent.
In terms of turnover, Kumari Bank’s promoter shares led the market, recording transactions worth NPR 261.8 million. This was followed by Ngadi Group Power with nearly NPR 190 million in turnover and Shivam Cements with transactions amounting to around NPR 80 million.
Out of the 13 trading sub-indices, only two closed higher, while the remaining 11 ended in the red. The banking and mutual fund sub-indices posted marginal gains, whereas hydropower, hotels & tourism, and life insurance sub-indices declined by around 1 percent.
