निर्वाचनपछि भएको पहिलो कारोबार दिन नेपाल स्टक एक्सचेञ्ज (नेप्से) मा तीव्र उतारचढाव देखिएको छ। बजार खुलेको पहिलो मिनेटमै नेप्से परिसूचक ४ प्रतिशतले बढेपछि पहिलो सर्किट ब्रेक लाग्दै कारोबार २० मिनेटका लागि स्थगित गरिएको थियो। त्यसपछि बिहान ११ बजेर २१ मिनेटमा पुनः खुलेको बजार तीव्र गतिमा बढ्दै ११ बजेर २१ मिनेट १५ सेकेन्डमै ५ प्रतिशतले बढेपछि दोस्रो सर्किट ब्रेक लागेर कारोबार पुनः ४० मिनेटका लागि स्थगित गरिएको हो। सो अवधिसम्म नेप्से परिसूचक १३५.७२ अंकले बढेर २८४८.२२ विन्दुमा पुगेको छ। यस अवधिमा २४७ वटा स्टकको २ हजार ३०८ पटक कारोबार हुँदा कुल २८ करोड ५१ लाख २५ हजार रुपैयाँ बराबरको ५ लाख ३५ हजार कित्ता शेयर किनबेच भएको छ।
On the first trading day after the election, the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) witnessed strong momentum, triggering the second circuit breaker and halting trading for 40 minutes. The market initially hit the first circuit breaker within just one minute of opening as the NEPSE index surged by 4 percent, leading to a 20-minute suspension in trading. When the market reopened at 11:21 AM, the index continued its rapid rise and climbed 5 percent by 11:21:15 AM, prompting the second circuit breaker and suspending trading again for 40 minutes. By that time, the NEPSE index had increased by 135.72 points to reach 2,848.22 points. During this period, a total of 535,000 shares of 247 stocks were traded through 2,308 transactions, amounting to a turnover of approximately NPR 285.125 million.
