नेपाल स्टक एक्सचेन्ज (नेप्से) ले ब्रोकर कम्पनीहरूको सर्भर राखिएको डाटा सेन्टरमा आएको प्राविधिक समस्याका कारण आज (असोज ५ गते) को सम्पूर्ण सेयर कारोबार स्थगित गरेको छ। ७२ वटा कारोबार सदस्य कम्पनीहरूको सर्भर राखिएको ‘डाटा हब प्रा.लि.’ मा आश्विन ४ गते बिहानैदेखि आएको प्राविधिक समस्या हालसम्म समाधान हुन नसकेपछि नेप्सेले सोमबारको नियमित कारोबार सत्र रोक्ने निर्णय गरेको हो।
नेप्सेका अनुसार डाटा सेन्टरको समस्या समाधानका लागि निरन्तर पहल भइरहे पनि हालसम्म पूर्ण रूपमा सुचारु हुन सकेको छैन। यस्तो अवस्थामा जवरजस्ती कारोबार सञ्चालन गर्दा नेप्सेको मुख्य कारोबार प्रणालीमा समेत गम्भीर क्षति पुग्न सक्ने प्राविधिक जोखिम देखिएको थियो। सोही जोखिमलाई मध्यनजर गर्दै स्टक ब्रोकर एसोसिएसन अफ नेपालले समेत आजको नियमित कारोबार सत्र स्थगित गरिदिन नेप्सेसँग औपचारिक निवेदन दिएको थियो।
ब्रोकर एसोसिएसनको निवेदन र प्रणालीमा हुन सक्ने सम्भावित क्षतिलाई ध्यानमा राख्दै नेप्सेले धितोपत्र सूचीकरण तथा कारोबार नियमावली, २०७५ को नियम २१ (१) बमोजिम आज असोज ५ गतेको कारोबार स्थगित गरिएको जनाएको छ। कारोबार रोक्नुपरेका कारण आम लगानीकर्ता तथा सरोकारवालाहरूमा पर्न गएको असुविधाप्रति नेप्सेले क्षमा मागेको छ।
The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) has officially suspended all stock trading for today (Ashoj 5) due to an ongoing technical issue at the data center hosting the servers of its brokerage firms. The technical disruption began on the morning of Ashwin 4 at 'Data Hub Pvt. Ltd.', the facility that houses the servers for 72 trading member companies. NEPSE stated that despite ongoing efforts to fix the problem, a full resolution has not yet been achieved.
According to the regulatory body, forcing the market to open under the current circumstances could pose a severe risk of damaging NEPSE's core trading system. Taking this technical vulnerability into account, the Stock Brokers Association of Nepal formally submitted a request to NEPSE, urging them to halt today's regular trading session.
In response to the association's request and the potential threat to the central system, NEPSE announced the suspension of trading for today (2083/06/05) in accordance with Rule 21 (1) of the Securities Listing and Trading Regulations, 2075. NEPSE has also issued an apology to all investors and concerned stakeholders for the inconvenience caused by the sudden market halt.
