एनआईसी एशिया बैंकलाई ५० प्रतिशत हकप्रद शेयर निष्काशनका लागि राष्ट्र बैंकको पूर्वस्वीकृतिNIC Asia Bank receives NRB nod for 50% rights issue
एनआईसी एशिया बैंक लिमिटेड ले हकप्रद शेयर निष्काशन प्रक्रिया अघि बढाउने तयारी स्वरूप नेपाल राष्ट्र बैंक बाट पूर्वस्वीकृति प्राप्त गरेको छ। नियामक निकायले बैशाख १७ गते बैंकलाई ५० प्रतिशत हकप्रद शेयर निष्काशनका लागि सैद्धान्तिक अनुमति दिएको हो।
बैंकले हाल कायम चुक्ता पूँजीका आधारमा २ कित्ता शेयर बराबर नयाँ १ कित्ता अनुपातमा हकप्रद शेयर जारी गर्ने योजना अघि सारेको छ। यस प्रस्तावमार्फत बैंकले पूँजी संरचना सुदृढ बनाउने र आगामी विस्तार योजनालाई सहयोग पुग्ने अपेक्षा गरिएको छ।
हकप्रद शेयर निष्काशनसम्बन्धी प्रस्ताव भने बैंकको आगामी २८औँ वार्षिक साधारण सभामा पेश गरिनेछ। उक्त सभाबाट प्रस्ताव पारित भएपछि मात्रै प्रक्रिया औपचारिक रूपमा अगाडि बढ्नेछ।
यद्यपि, हकप्रद निष्काशन अघि बढाउनका लागि अन्तिम स्वीकृति भने नेपाल धितोपत्र बोर्ड बाट लिनुपर्ने हुन्छ। बोर्डबाट स्वीकृति प्राप्त भएपछि मात्र सर्वसाधारणका लागि हकप्रद शेयर बिक्री खुला गरिनेछ।
Kathmandu — NIC Asia Bank Limited has secured preliminary approval from Nepal Rastra Bank to proceed with a rights share issuance. The central bank granted the in-principle consent on Baisakh 17, allowing the bank to move forward with its capital expansion plan.
Under the proposal, the bank plans to issue rights shares in the ratio of 1 new share for every 2 shares currently held, effectively amounting to a 50 percent rights offering. The move is aimed at strengthening the bank’s capital base and supporting its future growth strategies.
The proposal will be tabled at the bank’s upcoming 28th Annual General Meeting, where shareholder approval will be sought. Only after endorsement from the AGM will the process formally advance.
However, the issuance will still require final approval from Securities Board of Nepal before it can be offered to the public. Once all regulatory and shareholder approvals are in place, the bank will proceed with the rights share distribution.
