NIC Asia Capital Holds 9th AGM, Approves 50% Cash Dividend

Kathmandu – NIC Asia Capital Limited successfully conducted its 9th Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Bhadra 18, 2082, at its registered office in Thapathali, Kathmandu. The meeting approved the Board of Directors’ report, the audited financial statements for FY 2081/82, and endorsed a 50 percent cash dividend (including tax) on the company’s paid-up capital.
In his address, Chairman Santhosh Kumar Rathi reported that with a paid-up capital of Rs. 20 crore, the company earned over Rs. 30.6 crore in revenue and recorded a net profit of Rs. 11.64 crore during the review period.
According to the report presented at the AGM, the company achieved significant milestones during FY 2081/82, including:
Opening over 800,000 Demat accounts.
Managing Rs. 5.45 billion through 5 mutual fund schemes.
Handling Rs. 2.7 billion for 720 investment management clients.
Serving as share registrar for 23 companies.
Successfully completing the IPO issuance process for 17 companies under its “IDEA to IPO” service.
Including the newly proposed dividend, NIC Asia Capital has provided a total shareholder return of 290 percent since its inception.
