एनएमबि बैंकद्वारा ग्रीन सेभिङ्स डिपोजिट योजना सुरु, वातावरण संरक्षणमा नयाँ पहलNMB Bank Launches Green Savings Deposit Scheme, A New Initiative for Environmental Conservation
एनएमबि बैंकले वातावरण संरक्षणलाई प्रोत्साहन गर्ने उद्देश्यले "ग्रीन सेभिङ्स डिपोजिट" (हरित बचत खाता) नामक नवीन बचत खाता योजना सार्वजनिक गरेको छ। यो योजनाले व्यक्ति र संस्थाहरूलाई पर्यावरण संरक्षणमा महत्वपूर्ण योगदान पुर्याउन सहयोग गर्ने बैंकको दाबी छ।
बैंकका अनुसार, यो खातामा जम्मा भएको रकम सौर्य ऊर्जा, ऊर्जा बचत र प्रकृतिको संरक्षण गर्ने हरित परियोजनाहरूमा मात्र प्रयोग गरिनेछ। ग्राहकहरूले यस खाताबाट आफ्नो लगानीमा आकर्षक प्रतिफल प्राप्त गर्नुका साथै हरित ऋणहरूमा विशेष छुटको सुविधा पनि पाउन सक्नेछन्।
एनएमबि बैंकले यो खातामार्फत ग्राहकहरूलाई जलवायु परिवर्तनविरुद्ध लड्न र नेपाललाई थप दिगो बनाउन सहभागी हुने अवसर प्रदान गरेको जनाएको छ। बैंकले पर्यावरणमैत्री बन्ने प्रतिबद्धता व्यक्त गर्दै सन् २०४५ सम्ममा नेपालको शून्य प्रदूषण लक्ष्यलाई समर्थन गर्ने योजना बनाएको छ। "ग्रीन सेभिङ्स डिपोजिट खाता खोलेर ग्राहकहरूले पनि यो अभियानमा आफ्नो प्रतिबद्धता देखाउन सक्छन्," बैंकले भनेको छ।
हाल एनएमबि बैंकले देशभर २०२ शाखाहरू, १८७ एटिएमहरू र ९ एक्सटेन्सन काउन्टरहरूमार्फत उच्चस्तरीय सेवा प्रदान गर्दै आएको छ। यो नयाँ योजनाले वित्तीय सेवा र वातावरण संरक्षणलाई एकसाथ जोड्ने बैंकको प्रयासलाई प्रतिबिम्बित गरेको छ।
NMB Bank has introduced an innovative savings account scheme called the "Green Savings Deposit" aimed at promoting environmental conservation. The bank claims that this scheme will help individuals and institutions play a significant role in protecting the environment.
According to the bank, the funds deposited in this account will be exclusively utilized for green projects such as solar energy, energy conservation, and nature preservation initiatives. Customers of this account will not only receive attractive returns on their investments but also benefit from special discounts on green loans.
NMB Bank has stated that by opening a Green Savings Deposit account, customers can join hands in combating climate change and contributing to a more sustainable Nepal. The bank has expressed its commitment to becoming environmentally friendly and supporting Nepal’s goal of achieving zero pollution by 2045. "Through this account, customers can also demonstrate their commitment to this cause," the bank added.
Currently, NMB Bank provides high-quality services through 202 branches, 187 ATMs, and 9 extension counters across the country. This new scheme reflects the bank’s efforts to integrate financial services with environmental conservation.
