Non-Life Insurance Premium Collection Crosses NPR 28 Billion by Magh

Kathmandu — Non-life insurance companies in Nepal have collected a total insurance premium of NPR 28.27 billion by the end of Magh in the current fiscal year. Currently, 18 non-life insurance companies, including 14 large and 4 micro insurers, are operating in the country. According to data published by the Nepal Insurance Authority, the companies achieved this collection within the first seven months of the fiscal year.
During the review period, Shikhar Insurance Company Ltd. recorded the highest premium collection of NPR 3.32 billion. It was followed by Sagarmatha Lumbini Insurance Company Ltd. with NPR 2.98 billion, Himalayan Everest Insurance Limited with NPR 2.83 billion, Siddhartha Premier Insurance Limited with NPR 2.51 billion, and IGI Prudential Insurance Limited with NPR 2.38 billion in total premium earnings.
