नेपाल राष्ट्र बैंकका गभर्नर डा. विश्वनाथ पौडेलले आफ्नो सम्पत्ति विवरण सार्वजनिक गरेका छन्। सार्वजनिक पदमा नियुक्त भएपछि कानुनी प्रावधानअनुसार उनले बुधबार आफ्नो नाममा रहेको सम्पत्ति विवरण सार्वजनिक गरेका हुन्।
गभर्नर पौडेलले विभिन्न सात कम्पनीमा प्रवर्द्धक (संस्थापक) सेयरधनीका रूपमा कूल १४ करोड ५ लाख ६७ हजार रुपैयाँ बराबरको लगानी रहेको उल्लेख गरेका छन्। ती कम्पनीहरूमा सानिमा बैंक, सानिमा हाइड्रोपावर, सानिमा मिडल तमोर हाइड्रो, ग्लोबेको प्रालि, संयुक्त उर्जा हाइड्रोपावर र चितवन इनर्जी रहेका छन्। ग्लोबेको प्रालि नाम दोहोरिएर उल्लेख भएको छ।
उनले आफ्नो र श्रीमती प्रतिभा शर्माको नाममा विभिन्न बैंक खातामा जम्मा २० लाख रुपैयाँभन्दा बढी मौज्दात रहेको जानकारी गराएका छन्। साथै सानिमा बैंकको डलर खातामा ५,५०० अमेरिकी डलर रहेको समेत उल्लेख गरेका छन्।
गभर्नर पौडेलले आफ्नो नाममा ४५ तोला सुन र १५ लाख रुपैयाँ बराबरको हिरा रहेको जनाएका छन्। श्रीमती शर्माको नाममा ललितपुरमा मूल्य १ करोड ५५ लाख बराबरको जग्गा तथा नवलपरासीमा ६० लाख रुपैयाँ बराबरको जग्गा रहेको उनले उल्लेख गरेका छन्। यस्तै, श्रीमतीको नाममा ४४ लाख रुपैयाँ मूल्यको सुजुकी कार रहेको विवरण पनि सम्पत्ति घोषणामा समावेश गरिएको छ।
Nepal Rastra Bank Governor Dr. Bishwanath Paudel has publicly disclosed his property details, in accordance with legal provisions that require officials holding public office to make their assets public. The disclosure was made on Wednesday.
Governor Paudel has declared a total investment of Rs 140.56 million in promoter shares across seven companies. These companies include Sanima Bank, Sanima Hydropower, Sanima Middle Tamor Hydropower, Globeco Pvt. Ltd., Sanyukta Urja Hydropower, and Chitwan Energy. Notably, Globeco Pvt. Ltd. is mentioned twice in the disclosure.
He has also stated that he and his wife, Pratibha Sharma, have over Rs 2 million in various bank accounts. Additionally, there is a USD 5,500 balance in a dollar account held at Sanima Bank.
Regarding gold and other valuables, Dr. Paudel has declared possession of 45 tolas of gold and diamonds worth Rs 1.5 million. His wife's name is listed as the owner of real estate properties including land worth Rs 15.5 million in Lalitpur and Rs 6 million in Nawalparasi. Furthermore, a Suzuki car worth Rs 4.4 million is also registered in her name.
