काठमाडौं, २०८२ जेठ ४ – नेपाल राष्ट्र बैंकले आजको मितिमा ‘डिपोजिट कलेक्सन’ (Deposit Collection) कार्यक्रमअन्तर्गत ‘बर्ग क’ विकास बैंकहरू (B-Grade Development Banks) लाई लक्षित गर्दै डिपोजिट संकलनको सूचना जारी गरेको छ। राष्ट्र बैंकले मौद्रिक व्यवस्थापन अन्तर्गत तरलता सन्तुलन कायम राख्न यस प्रकारको अल्पकालीन डिपोजिट संकलन गर्दै आएको छ।
उक्त सूचना अनुसार, विकास बैंकहरूले २०८२ जेठ ४ गते दिउँसो ३:०० बजेभित्र अनलाइन बोलपत्र प्रणाली (Online Bidding System Software) मार्फत प्रतिस्पर्धात्मक बोलपत्र पेस गर्नुपर्नेछ। यो डिपोजिट २१ दिनको अवधिका लागि हुनेछ भने डिपोजिटको परिपक्व म्याद २०८२ जेठ २५ गते हुनेछ।
राष्ट्र बैंकले जारी गरेको सूचनाका मुख्य अंश यसप्रकार छन्:
यो डिपोजिट संकलनमा केवल बर्ग क विकास बैंकहरू सहभागी हुन सक्नेछन्।
इच्छुक बैंकहरूले अनलाइन प्रणाली प्रयोग गरी तोकिएको समयभित्र बोलपत्र पेश गर्नुपर्नेछ।
मागभन्दा बढी बोलपत्र प्राप्त भएमा प्रो-राटा आधारमा (Pro-rata Basis) डिपोजिट वितरण गरिनेछ।
संकलन गरिने सम्पूर्ण डिपोजिटहरू "कल डिपोजिट" (Call Deposit) पोर्टफोलियोमा राखिनेछ र यसले सीआरआर (CRR) लाभ पाउने छैन।
यो डिपोजिट प्री-म्याच्योर (Pre-mature) निकासा योग्य हुनेछैन।
सहभागितासम्बन्धी थप जानकारीका लागि राष्ट्र बैंकको तरलता व्यवस्थापन विभागमा सम्पर्क गर्न सकिनेछ।
नेपाल राष्ट्र बैंकले यस प्रकारको मौद्रिक उपकरण प्रयोग गरी बजारमा तरलता व्यवस्थापन तथा मौद्रिक नीतिको कार्यान्वयनलाई बजारमैत्री, पारदर्शी र प्रतिस्पर्धात्मक बनाउँदै लगेको स्पष्ट पारेको छ। डिपोजिट संकलनको यो कार्यक्रम बैंकिङ क्षेत्रको जिम्मेवार तरलता व्यवस्थापनका लागि उपयोगी हुने विश्वास लिइएको छ।
Kathmandu, Nepal – Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB), the central regulatory authority, has issued a formal Deposit Collection Notice dated Jestha 4, 2082 (May 17, 2025), inviting B-grade licensed development banks to submit competitive bids for short-term deposits under its regular liquidity management framework.
The notice is part of NRB's liquidity operation strategy to manage temporary excess liquidity in the financial system. The deposit collection will be executed via the Online Bidding System Software, and the bidding session is set to conclude by 3:00 PM on Jestha 4, 2082.
NRB aims to collect deposits for a tenure of 21 days through this operation. The interest rate for the deposit will be determined based on the competitive bidding submitted by the participating banks. The maturity date for this round of deposit collection has been scheduled for Jestha 25, 2082.

Only B-grade development banks are eligible to participate in the bidding.
Bidders must clearly submit bids within the designated bidding window through the online system.
In case of oversubscription, allocations will be made on a pro-rata basis.
All deposits will be categorized under the "Call Deposit" portfolio, and will not qualify for statutory CRR (Cash Reserve Ratio) benefits.
The deposits collected through this operation will not be eligible for pre-mature withdrawal or early settlement.
