मौद्रिक नीति तेस्रो त्रैमासिक समिक्षा : राष्ट्र बैंकको व्यवस्थापन समिति बैठक आज बस्दैNRB Management Committee Meeting Today for Third Quarter Monetary Policy Review
नेपाल राष्ट्र बैंकले मौद्रिक नीतिको तेस्रो त्रैमासिक समिक्षा तयारीका लागि आज आइतबार व्यवस्थापन समितिको बैठक बोलाएको छ। बैठक दिउँसो ३ बजे गभर्नर डा. विश्वनाथ पौडेलको अध्यक्षतामा बस्न लागेको हो।
बैठकमा दुबै डेपुटी गभर्नर र कार्यकारी निर्देशकमध्येबाट गभर्नरले तोकेको सिनियर अधिकारी सदस्यसचिवको भूमिकामा रहने व्यवस्था छ। कार्यकारी निर्देशकमध्ये पहिलो वरियतामा रहेका अधिकारीलाई व्यवस्थापन समितिको जिम्मेवारी दिइने परिपाटी रहेको छ।
मौद्रिक नीति तर्जुमा कार्यविधिअनुसार प्रत्येक त्रैमासिक समिक्षा त्रैमासको समाप्तिपछि ४५ दिनभित्र सम्पन्न गर्नुपर्ने प्रावधान छ। यही व्यवस्था अनुसार समिक्षा तयारी गर्न बैठक बस्न लागिएको हो।
गभर्नर पौडेलले आफ्नो कार्यकालको प्रारम्भदेखि नै नियमनभन्दा पनि सुपरीवेक्षणमा विशेष ध्यान दिने बताएका छन्। त्यसैले यसपटकको समिक्षामा ठूला नीतिगत परिवर्तनको अपेक्षा नगरी बजारलाई सकारात्मक सन्देश दिने खालको समिक्षा आउने अनुमान गरिएको छ।
नयाँ गभर्नरको नेतृत्वमा पहिलोपटक हुने त्रैमासिक समिक्षा भएकाले यसले गभर्नरको नीति दिशा कतातिर जाने हो भन्ने कुरामा महत्वपूर्ण संकेत दिने बताइँदैछ। त्यसैले मौद्रिक नीति समिक्षालाई यसपटक चासोपूर्वक हेरिएको छ।
Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has scheduled a management committee meeting today (Sunday) at 3 PM to discuss the third quarterly review of the monetary policy. The meeting will be chaired by the newly appointed Governor Dr. Bishwanath Paudel.
As per the NRB structure, the management committee is chaired by the Governor and includes both Deputy Governors and a senior executive director designated by the Governor as the member-secretary. Typically, the most senior executive director is entrusted with the committee responsibilities.
According to the Monetary Policy Formulation Procedure, the quarterly review must be conducted within 45 days of the end of each quarter. Today’s meeting is part of the process to finalize the upcoming review.
Governor Paudel has emphasized supervisory functions over regulatory functions since taking office. Therefore, this review is expected to send a positive signal to the market rather than introducing major policy changes.
Since this will be the first monetary policy review under the new Governor’s leadership, it is being closely watched. Observers believe it will offer important insights into the direction the Governor intends to take moving forward.
